Turn Voice Dial On / Off

Voice Dial lets you make calls from your Apple® iPhone® using your voice, which can be useful when driving or multitasking.

Before you begin

A passcode must be enabled on your iPhone to access the Voice Dial switch. For assistance with passcode setup, refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • If your iPhone is Face ID capable, tap
      Face ID & Passcode
      .
    • If your iPhone is Touch ID capable, tap
      Touch ID & Passcode
      .
  3. Enter your passcode.
  4. Tap the
    Voice Dial switch
     to turn on or off.
