Hum by Verizon - Auto Health Report

Here's how to view the auto health report and diagnostic issues for your Hum equipped vehicle.
To learn more about your vehicle's health status from the app, website, or monthly summary, view this info.
  • The Hum OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) reader receives diagnostic information from your car to alert you of any potential issues.
  • You can view this diagnostic info real time from the Hum app or the Hum Customer Portal (website).
  • At the beginning of each month, you receive a summary of events Auto Health Report that gives you a summary of diagnostics and any alerts or reminders you have set.

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Hum app
    .
  2. From the Dashboard, locate the
    Auto Health section
    .
  3. Tap the
    Auto Health Dashboard Tile
    .
    Alternatively, Auto Health can be accessed by performing the following:
    • Tap on any new Vehicle Diagnostic alert in the Dashboard notification carousel.
    • Open the side menu (upper-left) and select Auto Health.

  4. From the Diagnostics screen, view issue detected.
    There will be one alert card for each unique diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

    to display additional information for each alert.

  5. To view alerts without a diagnostic trouble code (DTC), tap any category to display more information.

  6. Alerts without an associated DTC code will display the Expert help and advice icons on every screen regardless of status.
    Generally, green means no issues detected, while yellow and red indicate at least one issue has been detected.

  1. Log into the Hum Customer Portal.
    Click
    Sign In
    (upper-right) to enter your login info.
  2. Click
    Auto Health
    (top) for specific diagnostics and overall status.
    Click
    Vehicle Diagnostic History
    for past error codes and reminders.

  • Driving History (e.g., distance traveled, average speed, etc.)
  • Auto Health (e.g., battery, mechanical, etc.)
  • Maintenance Reminders
  • Boundary Alerts
