Android Device - Join Verizon using eSIM

Here's info on how to join Verizon using an eSIM on your dual SIM capable Android device.

Only eSIM-compatible unlocked Android™ devices are eligible for activation with Verizon. For additional info, check out these SIM and eSIM FAQs.

Install the My Verizon app from the Google Play™ Store.

Tap

Join Verizon

From the 'Pick how you'd like join Verizon' screen, select the appropriate option then tap

Continue

If you receive a message that says 'Sorry, your device isn't eligible to join using eSIM', contact your carrier to verify if your device is locked.

From the 'Let's choose a plan' screen, view and choose a plan, then tap

Select

at the bottom of the screen.

Swipe left or right on the screen to view additional plan options.

From the 'Here's what's in your cart' screen, review the info then tap

Continue

An eSIM number is provided by default

To edit the SIM card on your device do the following:

Edit

to the right of the eSIM section.

Pick what type of SIM to use with your Pixel then tap

From the 'Tell us about yourself' screen, enter the following info then tap

Continue

First and Last Name

Alternate contact number

Primary address

From the 'We need a bit more information' screen, enter the following info then tap

Continue

To continue, you must select that you authorize Verizon to obtain your credit info and confirm your identity by tapping the box.

Date of Birth

Social Security Number or tax ID

Choose account PIN

From the 'Enter payment information' screen, enter your card info then tap

Continue

From the 'Transfer or get a new number' screen, choose one of the following then tap

Continue

Transfer number from another carrier

Enter current carrier account information.

Tap

Continue

Get a new number

Enter Zip code

Use the dropdown box to select the first 6 digits of your new number.

If applicable, check the box that reads 'Enroll me in paper-free billing.'

Tap

Continue

From the 'Review pricing and agreements' screen, tap

Review agreements

Review the 'Verizon Wireless Customer Agreement' screen then tap

Agree and continue

From the 'Complete your order' screen, confirm all info is correct then tap

Place order and activate

After the order is processed, from the 'Now let's activate your device' screen, tap

Activate your device

to continue.

From the 'Verizon is active' screen, tap

Done

From the 'Install Cellular Plan' screen tap

Continue

From the 'Add Cellular Plan' screen tap

Add Cellular Plan

Allow several minutes for the activation to complete.

If activating your device on eSIM, click on the link below applicable to your device manufacturer to download your eSIM profile:

From the 'Order confirmation' screen, tap

On the screen where your order number is displayed, tap

Continue

to create your My Verizon account.

Continue to follow the prompts until the My Verizon app registration is completed.
