Samsung Galaxy S22 / Galaxy S22 Ultra - Add / Edit / Delete a Contact

Here's how to add, edit or remove a contact entry on your Galaxy S22 / Galaxy S22+ / Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Expand All
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
    Contacts icon.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To add a contact, tap the
      Add icon
      Add Contact icon.
    • To edit an existing contact, select the desired contact then tap
      Edit
      Edit icon.
  3. If presented, select an account (e.g., Phone, Google, etc.).
    Depending on the account, the options presented may vary.
  4. Enter or edit any of the info fields (e.g., Name, Phone, Email, etc.) then tap
    Save
    .
    To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
    *+#
    then tap 'Pause(,)' or 'Wait(;)'.
    Tap
    View more
    for additional options.
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
    Contacts icon.
  2. Select the desired contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
    Menu icon then tap
    Delete
    .
  4. To confirm, tap
    Move
    .
    The desired contact is moved to trash and deleted permanently in 30 days or trash can be emptied manually:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
      Menu icon then tap
      Trash
      .
    2. Touch and hold the desired contact to delete.
    3. To select all, tap
      All
      .
    4. Tap
      Delete
      Trash can icon.
