Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security and privacy
    Biometrics
    .
  3. From the Additional security settings section, tap
    Biometrics
    .
  4. Tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  5. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  6. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the Fingerprints screen, review the info then tap
        Continue
        .
      2. Follow the on-screen prompts to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap
        Done
         (lower-right).
      4. Tap the
        Fingerprint unlock switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen prompts to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Touch and hold a fingerprint name until a blue checkmark appears to the left of the fingerprint.
        If desired, tap (check) additional fingerprints or tap All (upper-left) to remove all prints.
      2. Tap
        Remove
         (at the bottom).
      3. To confirm, review the info then tap
        Remove
        .
