Q: How do I add or change the Prepaid International Calling plan on my account?

You can manage your Prepaid International Calling plan in the My Verizon app or on the Add-ons page of the My Verizon website.

Q: Do I have to add a Prepaid International Calling plan every month?

No, your Prepaid International Calling plan will automatically renew each month once you add it to your account. To stop the plan from renewing, you'll need to remove it from your account.

Q: Can I use my prepaid phone to call and text other countries while I'm in the US?

Yes, you can use your prepaid phone for international calls and texts while you're in the US. For pricing and dialing instructions, go to our Prepaid International Calling page.

Q: I frequently call other countries from the US. What Prepaid International Calling plans are currently available?

You can choose from 3 Prepaid International Calling plans to add to your prepaid monthly plan: Global Calling (formerly called Unlimited Together – North America) $5/month Unlimited talk to Mexico, Canada, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US Virgin Islands Calls to over 220 destinations for a low discounted rate Global Calling Plus (formerly called Unlimited Together – World) $15/month Unlimited talk to over 40 destinations, including Mexico, Canada, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US Virgin Islands Calls to over 190 destinations for a low discounted rate Global Choice $10/month Pick one country and get up to 180 minutes/month depending on the selected Global Choice country Discounted rates after the allowances to the selected country Discounted calls from $0.05/per minute to 220+ other countries Unlimited talk to Mexico and Canada Notes: Any existing line level international long distance plan you have will be removed when you add Global Choice. Certain plans include unlimited calls to Mexico and Canada.

Q: Am I eligible for a Prepaid International Calling plan?

Prepaid International Calling plans can be added to all current prepaid monthly plans for smartphones or basic phones and many older prepaid monthly plans. You can view your Prepaid International Calling options in My Verizon.
