Trading in your old phone?
Remove your Google account from your old phone before getting started.

Hold the power button until the Motorola logo appears, then release and wait for the "Hi there" screen to appear.

From the “Hi there” screen, select the appropriate language, then tap Start.

From the "Phone activation" screen, tap Next. Allow a few minutes for activation to complete. If prompted, from the "Verify Your Account" screen, enter your Verizon Account PIN. Follow the onscreen prompts, then tap Next. If you forgot it, reset or create your Account PIN.

From the "Connect to Wi-Fi" screen, select a network, then enter the password.

If the phone doesn't already have an active eSIM profile, scan the QR code provided to you by Verizon. To complete initial setup first and add an eSIM later, tap Need help?, then tap Skip.

From the "Use Verizon?" screen, tap Activate.

From the "Verizon is active" screen, tap Next.

If you'd like to restore your info from an old device, tap Next. If you'd like a fresh start, tap Don't copy.

Sign in to your existing Google account or create a new one.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen, then tap Yes, I’m in. Tap Skip if you don't want to connect your phone number to your Google account.

From the Google "Welcome" screen, tap the appropriate link to view the Terms of Service and/or Privacy Policy. Tap I agree.

From the "Google services" screen, tap any of the switches to turn them on or off. You may need to scroll down to see all of the services. Tap Accept after you've turned on all the services you want.

From the "Set screen lock" screen, enter a PIN (at least 4 digits), then tap Next. Tap Screen lock options if you want to set up a different lock method.

From the "Unlock with your fingerprint" screen, tap Set up and then follow the on-screen instructions.
