  • What changes are being made to the My Rewards+ Program?

  • Verizon discontinued the My Rewards+ program at midnight EDT on May 30, 2019.

  • Why did Verizon eliminate the My Rewards+ Program?

  • From time to time, Verizon evaluates different aspects of its products, services and programs to ensure that they remain relevant to customers’ needs.

  • Is there a new loyalty program coming to replace My Rewards+?

  • Verizon is expanding loyalty offerings for our customers and is developing new programs that will be shared in the upcoming months.

  • What will happen to all my points?

  • Prior to the May 30, 2019 end date, points expired the same way they always did, i.e., one year from award date. Any points remaining on May 30, 2019 automatically expired, regardless of when they were earned.

  • Can I get a credit for the points I wasn’t able to use?

  • Points do not have a cash equivalent. Customers had the opportunity to redeem points through May 30 for video on demand and premium channels. Gift card redemptions were available through 5/10, and charitable donations through 5/8. If you tried to redeem within these deadlines, and did not receive your award, please contact us.

  • I am a Verizon Wireless customer and a member of the Verizon Up program. Is there any change to this program?

  • No. There is no impact to the Verizon Up program resulting from ending the My Rewards+ program.

  • I am a Verizon business customer and a member of the Verizon Small Biz Rewards program. Is there any change to this program?

  • No, there is no impact to the Small Biz Rewards program resulting from ending the My Rewards+ program.

  • I ordered a gift card but have not yet received it.

  • Gift cards generally take 3-4 weeks to arrive. If you have not received your card after this time, please contact us.

  • Where can I check my gift card balances?

  • How does the MasterCard® My Rewards+ Reloadable Prepaid Card work?

  • Just use the card anywhere MasterCard® is accepted — including restaurants, department stores, and even online. Because it's a MasterCard®, you'll have purchasing freedom to get what you want, where you want it.

    If your name doesn't appear on the card, you will need to visit MyIncentivesCard.com and create a profile before using the card online.

  • I redeemed points for 3 months of a premium channel. What happens at the end of the initial 90-day period?

  • Unless you cancel prior to the end of the initial 90-day period, the premium channel(s) you chose will begin billing at the standard programming rates.

  • How will the premium channel upgrade appear on my bill?

  • Your premium channel will be appearing on your bill with a zero charge during the 90-day period. Your bill will show the date when monthly charges will begin at standard programming rates.

    • Eligibility

    • My Rewards+ is a points-based program available to certain Verizon Consumer Wireline customers who purchase qualifying services. These services are subject to change by Verizon. In order to participate and enroll in the program, you must be 18 years of age or older and an authorized user on the account. Verizon may also require that you be a registered user of My Verizon. Customers who enroll are referred to as “Members” here. By enrolling and participating in the program, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Employees of Verizon and its vendors who are directly involved in the planning and/or implementation of the My Rewards+ program, as well as members of their immediate families and households, are prohibited from participating in it.

    • Point Accumulation

    • Existing members will be given the opportunity to earn rewards in the form of Points for taking certain actions, such as making purchases. The opportunities to earn Points will vary from time to time, as will the number of Points that may be earned. Points will not be rewarded for transactions completed by redeeming Points.

      Points will have Expiration Dates as described in the Program materials. If your Verizon account is terminated, or if you terminate all qualifying services, all Points earned will be forfeited.

    • Point Redemption

    • Members will be given the opportunity to redeem Points for the current options, which will vary from time to time. The available redemption options may include items such as gift cards (from individual merchants and/or prepaid credit cards), gift certificates, and the opportunity to make charitable donations. In order to redeem Points, we may require that your Verizon account be active and in good standing with no past-due balances.

      Rewards will be provided only to Member who earned the Points.

      Points are not transferable, including among accounts that may all be owned by you.

      Please allow at least 2 weeks (10 business days) for delivery of any rewards. Rewards will only be shipped to the client's address on file. If you do not receive your reward within the indicated time frame, you must contact us within ninety (90) days from the date of your request for the reward. After ninety (90) days, if we have not heard from you and our records indicate that your reward was fulfilled, you will be deemed to have received your reward and it will not be replaced, even if it is reported missing.

      We are not responsible for lost or stolen rewards. Rewards are not refundable or returnable, nor are they replaceable if lost, stolen, destroyed, or expired.

      Rewards may not be resold, are not redeemable for cash, and are void if sold for cash or other consideration.

      Rewards may be subject to further terms and conditions, such as terms and conditions associated with the use of a gift card or certificate by the merchant or issuer of the card.

      Gift cards/certificates must be surrendered at redemption.

      Gift cards/certificates are considered void if altered, photocopied, or reproduced. Retailers and card issuers have the right to restrict usage, and their participation in the program is subject to change.

    • General Terms

    • In these Terms and Conditions, “Verizon” or “we” refers to the affiliates of Verizon Communications Inc. that are applicable to the reference being made.

      We reserve the right to disqualify you from participation in the My Rewards+ program (and to invalidate all rewards) if we determine that you have violated the program rules, terms or conditions.

      Your My Rewards+ status will be considered inactive if you do not redeem Points at least once within each 12 month period. We reserve the right to remove inactive accounts and upon removal, all Points earned on that account will be forfeited.

      Points are not your property and cannot be bought, sold or transferred in any way (including death or as part of a domestic matter).

      Points are not redeemable for cash.

      Verizon My Rewards+ Point earning and redemption opportunities are void where prohibited by law.

      We are not responsible for disputes involving joint account holders or unauthorized users relating to rewards.

      Determination of any tax liability relating to Points and rewards, and payment of any taxes that may be due on them, is solely your responsibility.

      All questions or disputes regarding the program, including on eligibility and matters involving rewards or the earning of Points, will be resolved by Verizon in its sole discretion.

      We may terminate or modify, without liability, all or any part of the program, at any time, with or without notice. These changes may be retroactive. In addition, we may change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and by your continued participation in the program, you agree to abide by the revised version of the Terms and Conditions. If changes are made, the updated version of the Terms and Conditions will be posted on the My Verizon website. You are responsible for regularly checking this website for updates and notices of changes.
