Going on vacation and need to suspend your service?

You may be going out of town for an extended time, remodeling your home, or spending time at your summer home. If you’re not going to use your services for an extended period our Vacation Suspend can help you save money and retain your home telephone number:

  • Your service can be suspended between 30 days up to 9 months*.
  • You need to have the service for 90 days prior to it being suspended, and you must have at least 3 months of active service in any calendar year.

*Does not apply to FWA/5G Home.

Note: You will continue to be billed monthly for some services, as well as any applicable taxes or surcharges during your suspension.

This service may not be available in all areas.

To suspend your service, sign in to My Verizon. There is a one-time charge to initiate a vacation suspend.

Vacation Suspend

If you'll be out of town anywhere from 30 days to 9 months, no need to cancel. Vacation service allows you to suspend your service for up to 9 months.
