How to disconnect your Verizon Fios service
Do you need to disconnect your Verizon Fios service?
We’re sorry to see you go. If you need to disconnect your Verizon Fios service you can either:
- Call us Monday – Friday, 8 AM-7 PM ET, or Saturday, 8 AM-5 PM ET, at 1-800-VERIZON (800-837-4966). Remember to have your account information on hand.
- Disconnect using My Verizon* by either:
- Choosing Disconnect Service on the My Verizon Account Dashboard.
- Choosing Disconnect Service on the My Verizon Account Settings page.
- Signing in to My Verizon and tapping Chat
- Type “Cancel” in the Ask a question box.
- Follow the prompts to disconnect a line or chat with a live agent.

*Exception: Disconnecting online is available to customers with Fios services (i.e., Fios Home Internet, Fios Home Phone, Fios TV) only. Those with other home services (e.g., High Speed Internet, DSL, etc. ) must contact Customer Service to disconnect.
Already disconnected your Fios service?
After we’ve disconnected Fios service, you can still sign in to My Verizon to:
- Check status.
- Learn what to expect with your final bill.
- Track the status of pending refunds.
- Make sure we’ve received your equipment return.
