Steps to add a computer to an established D-Link wired home network

You must have at least one computer connected to your home network and be able to access the Internet before you can connect additional computers. If you haven't created a home network, refer to the instructions for installing a D-Link wired home network.

Adding computers to your D-Link wired home network requires five steps:

  1. Test for NIC installation

  2. Connect PC to Router

  3. Verify NIC Configuration

  4. Identify PC on Network

  5. Testing your Internet Connections
