How to Stop Annoying and Unwanted Calls
Verizon has four ways to help you block calls on your home phone.

- If you haven’t already, sign up for Call Block, Caller ID, or Anonymous Call Rejection. Don’t forget Caller ID/ Call Waiting.
- If you are a Verizon FIOS customer you can register with Nomorobo
- Register your home number, your cell phones, as many numbers in your household with National Do Not Call Registry at www.donotcall.gov. You can also call them at 1.888.382.1222 (TTY: 1.866-.90.4236) from the phone you want to register. Numbers registered on the National Do Not Call Registry do not expire. Tell companies you are listed on the donotcall registry. If after 31 days they continue to call you can report them to the FTC again by calling or visiting them online. You need to have the telephone number you are reporting, the date and time they called. You do not need to know the name of the caller. This won’t stop all your calls but it will cut down on legitimate callers.
