Why is my audio playback garbled?
Check to ensure that the volume level on the video player is properly set and that the movie has not been muted. Confirm that your computer speakers are turned on and that the volume is set to the appropriate level. To confirm that your computer volume is not muted:
  • Windows: double-click the volume Icon in the System Tray (no settings are muted)
  • Macintosh: volume controls are located in the top right corner of the menu bar.
Confirm that you are able to listen to audio files locally on your computer. Restart your browser and try to watch another video. If these steps are unsuccessful in resolving the issue, you may need to reinstall Flash.

Why is my video playback stuttering?
Video stuttering is typically due to a lack of memory, not enough power or a slow Interent connection to the computer.

How can I tell if the stuttering is due to a lack of bandwidth?
If you experience both audio and video stuttering during playback, the most common causes are issues with your internet connection, wireless network or using a shared internet connection. If this issue persist, please contact Verizon.

How can I tell if the stutering is due to computer problems?
Video playback stuttering, particularly in full screen playback mode is an indication that your computer doesn’t have enough memory capacity to support the application. By closing down other programs that are running you may be able to free up enough memory to stop the stuttering. If the stuttering occurs on the Web page while in full screen mode, but not in small screen mode, then your computer does not have enough memory to play videos in full screen mode. Re-installing Flash may also correct the problem.

If you still have questions or need additional help, please contact Verizon.
