Remove your Google account from your old phone before getting started.

Hold the power button until the Galaxy A02s screen appears, then release.

From the "Let’s go!" screen, select the appropriate language, then tap the blue arrow.

Check the desired items, then tap Next. The Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy must be checked to continue with setup.

If prompted, from the "Verify Your Account" screen, enter your Verizon Account PIN. Follow the on-screen prompts, then tap Next. If you forgot it, reset or create your Account PIN.

From the "Phone Activation" screen, tap Next. Please allow a few minutes for activation to complete.

From the "Set up Wi-Fi" screen, select a network. Enter the password and tap Connect or Skip the step. If your network isn't shown, tap Add network.

Tap Next to copy your data and follow the steps to transfer your content. If you'd like to transfer your stuff later using Verizon Cloud, tap Don't copy.

Sign in to your Google account or create a new one. Signing in to Google allows you to access Gmail and your Google apps.

If prompted to keep Google updated with your phone number, tap Yes, I'm in. Tap Skip if you don't want to add your phone number to your Google account.

Review Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents, then tap I agree to continue setting up your phone.
12 Google AssistantStep 12 Google Assistant
Google Assistant allows you to control your phone and search the internet using simple voice commands. Tap Next to continue.
13 Set up Google servicesStep 13 Set up Google services
Google offers a variety of services that help many of their apps function better. Review all of them and tap the corresponding switch to turn them on. You may need to scroll down to see all of the services. Switches are turned on when in the blue position. Tap Accept after you've turned on all the services you want.
14 Protect your phoneStep 14 Protect your phone
Select the desired screen lock option, then tap Next.
15 Verizon ServicesStep 15 Verizon Services
From the "Verizon Services" screen, verify your preferences for Location and App info, then tap Accept.
16 Verizon CloudStep 16 Verizon Cloud
Verizon Cloud gives you added protection by backing up your important information to the cloud. Set up Verizon Cloud by tapping Next or Skip the step.
17 Digital SecureStep 17 Digital Secure
Verizon Digital Secure protects your phone from malware, viruses and other threats. Set up Digital Secure by tapping Accept or Skip the step.
18 Samsung Account sign inStep 18 Samsung Account sign in
Sign in to your Samsung account or create a new one. Signing in to your Samsung account allows you to access services like the Galaxy Store, Samsung Pay and Find My Mobile.
19 Setup completeStep 19 Setup complete
From the "Setup Wizard is complete" screen, tap Done to complete setup.
