Trading in your old phone?

Remove your Google account from your old phone before getting started.

Step 1 Turn off your old phone

Hold the power button until the device vibrates, then release and wait for the "Orbic" screen to appear.

3 WelcomeStep 3 Welcome

From the "Hi there" screen, select the appropriate language, then tap Start.

4 Activate your Orbic MyraStep 4 Activate your Orbic Myra

From the "Phone Activation" screen, ensure the correct mobile number is listed, then tap Next. Please allow a few minutes for activation to complete.

5 Enter your Verizon PINStep 5 Enter your Verizon PIN

If prompted, from the "Verify Your Account" screen, enter your Verizon Account PIN. Follow the on-screen prompts, then tap Next. If you forgot it, reset or create your Account PIN.

6 Set up Wi-FiStep 6 Set up Wi-Fi

From the "Set up Wi-Fi" screen, select a network. Enter the password and tap Connect or Skip the step. If your network isn't shown, tap Refresh List.

7 Copy apps & dataStep 7 Copy apps & data

From the "Copy apps & data" screen, tap Next to continue or tap Don't copy to skip the step.

8 Use your old deviceStep 8 Use your old device

From the "Bring your data from" screen, ensure you have your old Android™, iPhone® or iPad® device. Tap Next, then follow the on-screen instructions. If you don't have access to your old device, tap Don't copy to skip the step.

9 Sign in to GoogleStep 9 Sign in to Google

From the "Google Sign-in" screen, create a new account or sign in to your Google account, then tap Next. Signing in to Google allows you to access Gmail and your Google apps.

10 Set up Google ServicesStep 10 Set up Google Services

Google offers a variety of services that help many of their apps function better. Review all of them and tap the corresponding switch to turn them on. You may need to scroll down to see all of the services. Switches are turned on when in the blue position. Tap Accept after you've turned on all the services you want.

11 Protect your phoneStep 11 Protect your phone

Add a PIN, pattern, password, face recognition or fingerprints, or choose Skip to bypass locking your screen.

12 Access your AssistantStep 12 Access your Assistant

From the "Access your Assistant with 'Hey Google'" screen, tap Yes, I’m in to fully set up and personalize your device. Tap Do it Later to finish later.

13 Anything elseStep 13 Anything else

From the "Anything else" screen, tap Add another email account, Change font size, Change wallpaper, or tap No thanks.

14 Set up Verizon servicesStep 14 Set up Verizon services

Verizon Services help to improve your experience and optimize your service. Tap the corresponding switch to turn Location info and Apps info on or off, then tap Accept.

15 Verizon CloudStep 15 Verizon Cloud

Verizon Cloud gives you added protection by backing up your important information to the cloud. Set up Verizon Cloud by tapping Agree or Skip the step.

16 Set up Digital SecureStep 16 Set up Digital Secure

Digital Secure protects your phone from malware, viruses and other threats. Set up Digital Secure by tapping Accept or Skip the step.

17 Ready to goStep 17 Ready to go

Tap Open My Verizon to set up the My Verizon app or tap Got it to exit the Setup Wizard.
