Trading in your old phone?

Remove your Google account from your old phone before getting started.

Step 1 Turn off your old phone

If powered off, press and hold the Power button until the Samsung Galaxy A11 screen appears, then release.

From the "Welcome!" screen, select the appropriate language and then tap Start.

4 Agree to the Terms and ConditionsStep 4 Agree to the Terms and Conditions

From the "A few legal items to review" screen, select I have read and agree to all of the above, then tap Next.

5 Enter your Verizon PINStep 5 Enter your Verizon PIN

If prompted, from the "Verify Your Account" screen, enter your Verizon Account PIN. Follow the onscreen prompts and then tap Next. If you forgot it, reset or create your Account PIN.

Ensure the correct mobile number is listed, then tap Next. Please allow a few minutes for activation to complete.

7 Set up Wi-FiStep 7 Set up Wi-Fi

Select a network, enter the password and tap Connect or Skip the step. If your network isn’t shown, tap Refresh list.

Tap Next to continue or tap Don’t copy to skip the step.

Ensure you have your old Android™, iPhone® or iPad® device. Tap Next and follow the on-screen instructions. If you don't have access to your old device, tap Can't use old phone? to skip the step.

10 Sign in to GoogleStep 10 Sign in to Google

Sign in to your Google account, then tap Next or create a new account. Signing in to Google allows you to access Gmail and your Google apps.

11 Set up Google servicesStep 11 Set up Google services

Google offers a variety of services that help many of their apps function better. Review all of them and tap the corresponding switch to turn them on. You may need to scroll down to see all of the services. Switches are turned on when in the blue position. Tap Accept after you've turned on all the services you want.

12 Protect your phoneStep 12 Protect your phone

Add a PIN, pattern, password, face recognition, or fingerprints or choose Skip to bypass locking your screen.

13 Set up Verizon servicesStep 13 Set up Verizon services

Verizon Services help to improve your experience and optimize your service. Tap the corresponding switch to turn Select Location info and Apps info on or off, then tap Accept.

14 Set up Verizon CloudStep 14 Set up Verizon Cloud

Verizon Cloud gives you added protection by backing up your important information to the cloud. Set up Verizon Cloud by tapping Agree or Skip the step.

15 Digital SecureStep 15 Digital Secure

Digital Secure protects your phone from malware, viruses and other threats. Set up Digital Secure by tapping Accept or Skip the step.

16 Samsung accountStep 16 Samsung account

Sign in to your existing Samsung account, create a new account or Skip the step.

17 Setup Wizard is completeStep 17 Setup Wizard is complete

Tap Open My Verizon to set up the My Verizon app or tap Done to exit the Setup Wizard.
