You can add smartwatches to your Verizon Family guardian, member or dependent accounts for location services. Verizon Family users who connect their smartwatches can be seen in the Verizon Family app.
With your smartwatch connected to the Verizon Family app:
- You can locate your guardian, member or dependent using the Verizon network
- See your guardian, member or dependent's location on the Verizon Family map screen
- Initiate 24/7 Assist services**
Important: We rely on your smartwatch’s fall detection functionality to launch 24/7 Assist services on the smartwatch. If your smartwatch doesn't detect a fall, the Verizon Family app can't trigger Fall Detection. If your smartwatch's fall detection function doesn’t trigger, you can still connect with a live agent by tapping the 24/7 Assist button in the Verizon Family app.
