Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
    .
  3. Perform any of the following:
    • Adjust Brightness
      1. In the 'Brightness' section, slide the blue bar left or right to adjust the amount of brightness.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
        to turn on or off.
        This feature optimizes the brightness level for available light.
    • Adjust Display / Font Settings
      1. Tap
        Font size and style
        .
      2. Touch and hold the
        blue dot
        then drag left or right to adjust the font size.
      3. Tap
        Font style
        then select an option (e.g. Default, SamsungOne, etc.).
      4. Tap the
        Back icon
        Back icon to return to Font size and style.
      5. Tap the
        Bold font switch
        to turn on or off.
      6. Tap the
        Back icon
        to return to the Display settings screen.
      7. Tap
        Screen timeout
        then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
      8. To control what happens when the phone is charging, tap
        Screen saver
        then select an option (e.g., Colors, Photo Table, etc.).
      9. Tap the
        Back icon
        to return to the Display settings screen.
      10. Tap
        Screen zoom
        and touch and hold the
        blue dot
        to drag it to the preferred option.
