Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your Galaxy Note9.

View Battery Life

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Device care

Battery

Battery usage

Review the info on the graph.

The graph displays the time since it was last charged to 100%.

Battery life is measured by standby time, talk time and data usage.

Review the Battery usage section.

The percentage indicates how much battery usage occurred for each category.

To improve battery life, you can:

Disable apps that are consuming too much battery or RAM and not being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Turn off GPS when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Change account sync settings to the lowest frequency.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
