moto e5 go - Turn Automatic App Restore On / Off

Here's info on backing up and restoring app data on your moto e5 go.
  • 'Automatic restore' allows backed up settings and data to be automatically restored when an app is reinstalled.
  • When attempting to determine whether a third-party app is the cause of an operating system / app issue, ensure 'Automatic restore' is turned off prior to performing a factory data reset.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    System
     System settings icon >
    Backup
     Backup settings icon.
    Before proceeding, ensure the Backup account listed is the desired account.
  3. Ensure the
    Back up to Google Drive switch
     is on Switch on.
  4. Tap
    App data
    .
  5. Tap the
    Automatic restore switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
