Here's how to erase all data on the SD / memory card of your Sonim XP5s.

Formatting permanently erases all data on the SD / memory card.
To perform the steps below, ensure the SD / memory card is inserted.
  1. From the Home screen, press the
    Apps tray button Apps tray
    .
  2. Navigate: Select
    Settings Settings icon
    Storage
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  3. From the Portable storage section, select the name of the SD / Memory card.
  4. From the File Explorer screen, select the name of the SD / Memory card then press the
    Menu button
     Menu button.
  5. Select
    Storage settings
     then select
    Format
    .
  6. Select
    ERASE & FORMAT
    .
