Samsung Galaxy Watch4 / Galaxy Watch4 Classic - Turn GPS Location On / Off

GPS location access is needed by some apps on your Galaxy Watch4 / Galaxy Watch4 Classic to share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.
Satellite or standalone GPS services require more power and have a greater effect on battery life.
From your Android™ smartphone, ensure your watch's software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  1. From the watch screen, open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Location switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap the
    Improve accuracy switch
     to turn on or off.
    When on, Wi-Fi and mobile networks are used to detect a more accurate location.
