  • Both devices (smartphone and watch) must be charged and kept close together while they are paired and synced.
  • Smartphone:
    • can be powered off.
    • doesn't need to be within range of the watch.
  • Watch must be connected to Wi-Fi or cellular network.

  • Smartphone:
    • doesn't need to be within range of the watch.
    • must be powered on.
      The watch can send SMS messages while the smartphone is powered off; however they are sent from the watch's mobile number rather than the smartphone's number.
