Battery Tips and Tricks for Your DROID MAXX 2 by Motorola (1:37)
When your smartphone is your lifeline, a dead battery just won't do. Here are some tips to extend your battery life.
It's important to see how your battery is being used. To see what is using your battery, tap the apps icon, then swipe left and tap the Settings icon. Scroll down to Device and select Battery.
You'll see your current battery life, charge history and battery usage for each of the apps and functions that your phone is running. For more details, tap an individual app or function.
Closing unused apps running in the background is another way to help save battery life.
Tap the apps icon, then swipe left and tap the Settings icon.
Scroll down to Device, and tap Apps.
Swipe to the left to view the Running menu. Tap the app you'd like to stop, then tap stop.
Another way to help save battery life is to turn off battery-consuming features like GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when you're not using them. You can also reduce screen brightness to extend your battery life.
