Guru shares exciting Walmart news

Group CEO of Verizon Media Guru Gowrappan stopped by to discuss how Yahoo has partnered with Walmart. Consumers can now fill their Walmart shopping carts directly from their Yahoo email app, streamlining their shopping experience.

Guru also mentioned new opportunities for one-of-a-kind experiences for advertisers via augmented reality. This technology can offer consumers experiences like seeing how a piece of furniture will look in 3D and in your own room.

Soyirindhi Hore, Human Resources Manager for Verizon Media, wanted to work for Verizon ever since she met a range of interesting people while interviewing with the company. Based in Bangalore, India, Soyirindhi loves zumba, spending time with her daughter and volunteering on a number of projects. Soyirindhi, glad to have you on the team!
