I wish it was as good as my Z3

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
After I drowned my Z3, which I absolutely loved, I bought a Z4. The Z4 is noticeably slower because it has a slower processor. The battery, which I read was larger, lasts about half as long. Lastly, the new fingerprint scanner is not good, and certainly worse than the Z3 scanner. The position on the Z3 made it easy to just grab and unlock, and it worked reliably and quickly. The new position makes it necessary to use both hands, is slow, and doesn't even unlock the phone half the time. Everything else is about the same, which is just the way I like it, but I'd rather have my old phone back.
Great phone for not so heavy user

Upgraded from Galaxy S7. Wanted a large screen, solid processor, improved Cameras and lighter skin UI than the Samsung stuff. I looked at the Pixel 3a Xl and the Z4. Pixel 3A has large bezels and locked storage at 64 GB. I skipped it and looked at the Moto G7/Z4. The Z4 is bezel-less and has a large very nice OLED HD plus screen. The colors are very nice. The HD plus is plenty for a big screen. Youtube videos look amazing. The processor is very fast for a midrange processor when it comes to most tasks. It's much faster than my S7 and there is nothing slow about it like some people here are suggesting. The top firing speaker is loud and clear. Has a headphone jack, and the 675 processor goes very well with music and a solid pair of headphones. The front facing camera has superb quality. The rear Camera is solid too, and night shots look very nice. Put a case and a screen protector on. Don't give the phone 1 star because you failed to protect it. Every phone will crack without a case. This phone is great for those who want a light skinned and smooth UI coming from previous heavy skin UI. Motorola UI is very stock android but has a nice theme with cool/simple weather animations and some useful features. Lots of Google in the UI like messages and keyboard and so on. Call quality is good, hold the mic up to your ear. When I first got the phone I was holding it too high and thought it was the mic. It's a tall phone so adjust how you hold it to your ear. For medium usage, this phone is perfect for simple people who don't want to spend a lot and don't want to be locked to 64GB storage with Google. It has 128gb and is expandable. The mid range processor is a newer one compared to the Pixel 3a. These mid range processors and faster than flagship processors from two years ago, especially when it comes to single core performance. Overall, I am happy with the phone and Motorola's approach to phones. It reminds me of my older HTC phone, but the skin is even more stock on this one. Oh and I forgot, battery life is amazing on this. Almost an hour per 10%.
