Verizon Cloud - Android - Install and Configure App

Here's how to install and configure Verizon Cloud on your Android device.

  • For best results, set up Verizon Cloud when the Android™ device has a good connection to the Verizon cellular network.
  • To transfer content directly from one device to the other refer to Verizon Cloud - Transfer Content - Android for assistance.
  1. Open the
    Verizon Cloud app
    .
  2. If prompted, tap
    Allow
     to grant Cloud access to device permissions.
  3. If prompted, do any of the following:
    • Tap
      Get Started
      .
    • Sign in to My Verizon using the mobile number where you want your content backed up.
      The number must be registered for My Verizon.
      If using a tablet that has its own cellular data plan, sign in using the tablet's 10-digit mobile number.
    • Enter the one-time PIN sent via email during first-time setup then tap
      Next
      .
  4. Select the desired option(s) then tap
    Continue
    .
  5. If prompted, tap
    Register
     then follow the on-screen prompts to complete your profile.
    If you select 'Not Now', you can set up a profile later.
