How do I sign up for a Verizon discount using ID.me?
To qualify for a Verizon discount, you will need to authenticate yourself using ID.me, a secure identity verification tool. Once eligibility is verified, new customers will see the discount option appear in the final step of the online order. Can I receive the Verizon military discount if I'm already a Verizon customer?
If you're already a Verizon customer, you can still access our military discount. Get started by determining your eligibility through the ID.me verification system. If you qualify, you'll see available options by visiting My Verizon then going to Plans > Applied Discounts to see plan savings. You'll then see the discount in an email confirmation and it will begin to appear on your bill 1-2 billing cycles after verification.
How much is the Verizon Active Duty Discount compared to the Verizon Veteran Discount when it comes to savings?

What do I do if my military status changes and I'm already receiving a discount from Verizon?
If your military status changes, your discount should continue without change, since military service and veteran status are effective for life. You may occasionally be asked to re-verify the original service, but you do not have to take any actions until requested.
Do Verizon military discounts also apply to business owners?
Military business owners can also save on both Wireless Business Unlimited plans and Fios Business Internet. Check your eligibility, and then choose what works best for your needs.
How do I renew my military discount with Verizon?
Eligible service members generally have their discount for life, but may need to occasionally re-verify their status to remain eligible. Please ensure your contact information is kept up-to-date to ensure you receive any re-verification notices. If you're asked to re-verify, simply click here to begin the re-verification process.
