The Verizon Plan FAQs

The Verizon Plan is no longer available to add to accounts.

If you currently have the Verizon Plan, each line on your account has:

• Unlimited talk and text
• Unlimited International Messaging from the US
• Mobile Hotspot on capable devices

Your account also has shareable 4G LTE / 5G¹ data for up to 10 devices in one of these sizes:

• XXL: 18 GB for $100
• XL: 12 GB for $80
• L: 6 GB for $60
• M: 3 GB for $45
• S: 1 GB for $30

¹5G access requires a 5G-capable device, which automatically connects when you're in a 5G coverage area.

There are 2 different charges on The Verizon Plan:

• Data plan shared by up to 10 devices
• Line access charge for each device.
  

For example, if you have 4 smartphones and 1 tablet on your account, you'll have 5 line access charges (i.e., one for each device) and 1 data plan charge.

Your bill will also include taxes, surcharges and charges for any other products or services you subscribe to.

Important: Due to rising operational costs, you'll see increased charges for this plan no sooner than 2/20/25:

• Each shared data plan single phone line account will be charged an added $4/month line access fee.
• Each shared data plan multi-phone line account will be charged an added $15/month line access fee.
• The data overage fee is increased from $15 to $20 per GB.

Yes, you can add connected devices to The Verizon Plan. The monthly line access fee for the connected device depends on the device type. Visit our Connected device plans page to learn more.

No matter what size data plan you have, all overages are billed at $20 for each 1 GB, rounded up. For example, if you use 250 MB over your allowance, you'll be charged $20.

Good to know: You can set your Communications preferences in My Verizon so you know when you're getting close to your data allowance.
