Both devices are water and dust resistant.  With an IP68 rating, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ withstand splashes, spills, and rain and stand up to dust, dirt and sand. They are water resistant in up to five feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Rinse residue/dry after wet.

Where is the home button on the Galaxy S9 and S9+?

The home button is available onscreen instead of as a physical button with both the Galaxy S9 and S9+. If your home button disappears (from app or function use), simply swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to restore. The home, back and recent apps buttons will appear at the bottom of the screen, with the home button always remaining in the middle.

It can last for up to 326 hours of standby time if Always ON Display is turned OFF, and up to 82 hours if AOD is turned on. The Galaxy S9+ has a fast-charging 3500 mAh non-removable battery with Adaptive Fast Charging Support. It will last up to 35 hours of talk time. It can last for up to 342 hours of standby time if Always ON Display is turned OFF, and up to 96 hours if AOD is turned on.

What colors are available for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+?

Both the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are available in three colors to choose from: midnight black, coral blue and lilac purple. The coral blue shade was first introduced on the Galaxy Note 7, and made available on the S7 Edge and S8. And though there have been purple Galaxy phones before, this is the first time the lilac hue has been made available to this line of smartphone.

Do the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ come with a messaging app?

Yes, both smartphones come with two messaging apps. The Samsung default messaging app is at the bottom of the home screen. You can also use the Verizon Messages app.
