[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DNA One by Monster has been a huge upgrade for me in portable wireless speakers. It's powerful, has a great battery with wireless charging and it pairs great with various sources of audio. This is a winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Monster DNA ONE portable Bluetooth speaker, compared to typical wireless Bluetooth speakers, stands head and shoulders above others with its innovative and unique features. Finally there is a portable Bluetooth speaker that utilizes a Qi wireless charging pad; the same wireless charging pad that can also charge my mobile device. Gone are the days of having to carry a proprietary charger for the speaker and a different charger for my mobile device. The Monster wireless charging pad is perfectly designed to stay in place and hold on tightly to the speaker unit with its slot and grove, rubber grip, and magnet. My mobile device was able to catch a charge from the wireless charging base despite the phones orientation. The rubber grip on both the bottom of the speaker and the bottom of the charging pad makes this a great unit to use in places like my boat. This is especially true being that this unit is fully submersible in about 3 feet of water. Another very unique feature of this unit is its Omni directional sound. Because of having speakers on both the front and back of the unit, there is no back or front; nor will there be any bad seat in the house. Another major feature that makes this unit stand out is its ability to act as a back up battery. It is astonishing to me that I can plug the charging base into the power out port on the unit and then charge my phone using the speakers power. Putting aside these features that certainly future proof Monsters' product line, the sound quality is on par with any other speaker of its size. The bass reflex was underwhelming, with the audio being more treble – heavy, but I did not expect party speaker quality with this. The speaker reliably maintained its connection with my mobile phone from at least 30 feet, and with its 13 hours of promised battery time and WOW-features, this is still an amazing unit that stands head and shoulders above last others.
