Don't fall for the speed

I bought this as I just upgraded my internet speed from 500 over 500 to gig service. I know I will never ever get 1 gbps speed as everything comes with * condition. But, I didnt expect to receive WiFi speed of 400 over 300 after I setup this mesh service. And I didnt even keep one of the two satellites more then 15 feet away.

I'm still deciding how to rate this. In the beginning, I was suddenly experiencing dead-slow speeds on a daily basis. After applying the latest update, it helped, but it was still happening. I had to reboot the router every single day to keep it working. Since then, I found the Armor security (which should slow it down) and the WPA3 setting to the 5G service helped stabilize it further. I have not experienced speeds dropping below 100 Mbps since. This should have been clearly indicated on the router's settings pages. Also, the Nighthawk app should not ever be the primary interface tool. Not everyone has a smartphone or wants to use it just so they can set things up. Everything should be administered through the router's website. Overall, I think more work is necessary to make it work as well as it should.
