Love this ring spotlight. We have 3-4 ring systems all around the house and they are awesome! You can alerts of motion at the camera right to your phone! The video quality is clear too! And they are weather resistant! It’s is easy to install! And this system has a small but decent light! Good battery life too!!

Installation was fairly easy to set up and it seems to be holding up well in the elements since installing 2 years ago. Performance seems spotty at times but I believe that’s due to WiFi connection issues. Overall, I would say this has helped deter mail thefts and other criminal activity at night.

The Ring spotlight cameras are amazing!! Motion detection can be adjusted to your liking! The video quality is amazing no matter what the weather is!! They are water proof and very durable! Installation is very simple and easy. The battery life lasts a month or so but they have solar panels and I never have to change the batteries on the cameras I have this on! We have had some of ours outside for seven or eight years now with no issues!! I stand by all Ring products!! We have just about every product they sell! The option to save recordings is also very cheap monthly!!

The batteries are an inconvenience to change. If the battery is dead you obviously can’t watch the camera or see recordings. The camera itself works great. It is easily mounted and moves with a few screws. It is waterproof and can be adjusted 180*. The only downside is having to monitor the battery life. I moved this camera to a less traffic area of the house.

Good enough but not the best out there

It gets the job done and adds some security to my house but it doesn’t always capture every moment. Sometimes I feel like the recording is delayed or glitched or the camera loses connection too often. I had the battery one first and that one was worse because the battery died too quickly, the mount works better for me.

So easy to install and use and the app interface is very user friendly. It reliably triggers everytime someone approaches my house and I’m able to clearly see and hear who it is. The battery life is great usually lasts a month or two before I have to change it!

how long does a charge last

This battery should last approximately 1,000 notification events with normal use. The battery life, as with anything, varies on the level of usage and may decrease if capturing a more substantial amount of motion events. You will always be notified when the battery life is low.
