Overall pretty good. Tough (certainly protective), good keyboard. Biggest drawback is that the space for finger ID is too small to do a fingerprint completely, so it doesn’t work. Also a little bit on the too heavy side.

It is very difficult to Adjust the angle of the screen. It is very easy to detach. In fact it detaches when you try to adjust it, even though you don’t want it to. It’s made of hard plastic that may very well protect it but still feels very cheap. I would love to return it, but my guess is with the cost of postage, I won’t get much of a refund.

Recently had to replace my ZAGG Slim Book Go. As with anything there are always pros and cons with change. The big pro with the Rugged Book Apple iPad 10.2” is it takes up less space without the extra piece out the back for the stand. The con for me is that it’s quite heavy compared to the other one I had. I didn’t really need something this rugged. Would have been nice to have another option to choose from. Having said that, if I ever drop it, I won’t have to worry! Overall it is a very good product…just a little heavy for my liking.

How does the keyboard recharge?

This newer keyboard and case now use a USB C type cord to charge the keyboard. The keyboard has a small port on the side that the cord plugs in to. You can use your cellphone USB power plug with the supplied USB to USB C cord. However, the cord that comes with this is quite short, maybe a foot or less, and I would recommend purchasing a longer USB to USB C cord if your plug is further away from the keyboard.

Plug the regular USB connector into any 5V USB outlet.
