The Second Number plan lets you add a second Verizon mobile number to your compatible smartphone:
You can get the Second Number plan for $10/month when you have an eligible mobile phone plan.* That’s a $5/month savings.
One Second Number perk is available per eligible mobile phone line with no activation or cancellation fees. Subject to Second Number Perk Terms & Conditions.
Important: A compatible device is required to use the perk.
*If you don’t have an eligible plan you can still add Second Number for $15/month. Learn more about Second Number as a plan.
The Second Number perk can be added to these mobile phone plans: Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus and/or Unlimited Welcome.* You can add 1 perk per line. The $10/month per line charge appears on your mobile bill.
Before you begin: A compatible device is required to use the perk.
Note: You won't be able to view or add any perks your plan isn't eligible for.
Sign in to My Verizon to find out whether you have myPlan. Or you can switch to myPlan.
*If you have Welcome Unlimited you can also add perks in My Verizon. Welcome Unlimited is no longer available to add to your account.

Good to know: You must be the Account Owner or Account Manager to make changes to the Second Number perk.
If you temporarily suspend your primary Verizon mobile number, Second Number will be suspended at the same time.
When you add the Second Number perk to your eligible mobile line:
The perk renews automatically each month until you cancel it. You can cancel your perk subscription anytime through My Verizon.
If you cancel your Second Number perk it is canceled immediately and the $10/month charge is prorated.
Example: If you added the perk on the first of the month, you're billed $10 for that month. If you cancel on the 15th, you get a $5 credit for the 16th to the 30th.

How to customize the perfect plan with myPlan
To get started, go to verizon.com and sign in to your account.
Or open the My Verizon app.
Tap the Account icon on the bottom of your screen then tap Plans.
You must be the Account Owner or Account Manager to enroll.
Select the line you'd like to update.
Then tap Get started to explore My Plan.
To customize your plan you'll need to choose your unlimited option.
Next, you can add your perks.
You'll save on every one...
It's that easy.
And don't forget — you can add or remove perks anytime you want, and you can choose different perks for every line on your plan.
After you've selected your Unlimited and perks, review your bill plan summary.
Tap Select effective date.
Choose whether your plan updates will take effect today or on the first day of the next bill cycle.
If everything looks good, tap Confirm.
You can begin registering your perk right away or you can go to your Plan overview to check out all your features and perks.
The perks you can start using right away will be marked "active" on your plan page.
If one of the perks you've selected requires further setup, you'll need to activate that perk.
Just tap Set up to begin.
To create a new account or validate an existing one, tap Register.
Follow the perk partner's activation steps.
Some additional terms and conditions may apply to your new perk.
Once complete, your perk will appear as Active on your plan page.

How to use your Second Number on iOS
Now that your Second Number is active, let's walk through a few additional steps.
First, you'll label your numbers to identify which is which.
Your existing line is labeled "Primary" by default, but you can name it anything you want. To change the label, tap on it.
Let's name this one "Primary Number".
To label your new Second Number, just tap on it.
Let's name it "Second Number".
These labels are just for you to identify the lines. You'll keep your existing Share Name ID.*
Next, select the default line you want to use for making calls and sending text messages.
You can customize this later by assigning a preferred line to people in your contacts.
Next, choose which lines can be used for iMessage and FaceTime.
You can select just one or both.
For your Cellular Data default, it's important to choose the primary number from your Verizon plan. This is the original line you already pay for data on.**
You can always come back to your Cellular Settings to update these selections.
Now you're ready to start using your Second Number.
When you make a call, you'll see what line you're using.

That's it.

How to use your Second Number on Android
Now that your Second Number is active on your Samsung Galaxy, let's get everything set up.*
If you're using a different Android device, there might be some differences in how the steps look but the overall process is the same.
To get started, open your Settings.
Tap on Connections and then SIM manager.
If you're asked about Data switching, it's important to keep it turned OFF.
With Second Number, you'll use data from your primary number. This is the line from your Verizon account that you already pay for data on.**
You can confirm Data switching is turned off by looking for the toggle switch near the bottom of your screen.
Next, you'll label your numbers to identify which is which.
To change the label of your new Second Number, tap on it.
Name it anything you want by tapping on Edit SIM information.
Let's name it "Second Number".
You can pick a custom icon or just keep the default.
These labels are just for you to identify the lines. You'll keep your existing Share Name ID.***
Next, look for "Primary SIM" to confirm the default line for calling, messaging and mobile data.
This should be set to your Primary Number.
You can customize this later by assigning a preferred line to people in your contacts.
Now you're ready to start using your Second Number.
When you make a call, you'll see what line you're using at the bottom of your screen.
To switch numbers, just tap on it.
That's it.
