How do I switch to Verizon?

Can I keep my current phone number?

How many lines can I have on my account?
You can have a total of 10 phone lines on your account, plus 20 connected devices like tablets and smartwatches.
Can I choose more than 1 plan for my account?
Instead of having 1 plan for your entire account, each line can pick a plan that fits best. That means you’ll have as many plans as you have lines.
Is 5G Ultra Wideband available with these plans?
It’s available with all unlimited plans, either for free or for $10/month, depending on your plan. Your device has to support 5G Ultra Wideband, and it has to be available in your area.
Can I use my phone in Canada and Mexico on these plans?
You can use your calling and texting allowances in Canada and Mexico. You may use your data at 4G speeds up to 512 MB, after which speeds are reduced to 2G speeds.

How much do these plans cost?
Your monthly cost depends on which plans you pick and how many lines are on your account.
How do I get the monthly Auto Pay and paper-free discount?
You can get a monthly discount per line by enrolling in Auto Pay and paper-free billing.
Are discounts available for military or first responders?

How do I get a discount on a connected tablet or Jetpack plan?
If you enroll in Do More Unlimited or Get More Unlimited, you can get a 50% discount on an unlimited connected device plan.
Do I have to pay for Apple® Music?

(C-band) spectrum to deliver a top-of-the-line 5G experience. 5G Ultra Wideband provides
game-changing benefits, like speeds up to 10x faster than what you have now.
5G Nationwide is the everyday 5G available across the country. It uses a low-band spectrum to
provide great coverage with performance comparable to our award-winning 4G LTE, and is only getting
better over time
By deploying both technologies together alongside 4G, customers get an excellent, reliable network
experience around the country.
Verizon is constantly expanding their 5G coverage. We just expanded 5G Ultra Wideband and will cover more than 100M people in the first quarter of 2022. 5G Ultra Wideband has also been especially deployed in crowded locations so people can stream and share when connected, like in arenas, airports, and downtown cities and towns. We also provide 5G Nationwide service in over 2,700 markets.
