This should be removed from the market. It's a money trap - to the 5 star reviews, let's see what you think in 3 months from now. This is my 5th watch in 5 years. I bought it because of the option of forced auto answer. Guess WHAT?!?! Not only could I NOT get it to work, neither could the sales associate OR manager at the store. They told me to call tech help. I did! Guess WHAT?!?! She couldn't get it to work either. Sent me back to the store for another. Guess WHAT?!?! Same EXACT issue! Look up my account! ALL documented in the notes. I kept it anyway because I needed it for my uncle. Well, after 3 or 4 months, the app stopped working with the watch AGAIN. SO, I cancelled it completely. I've been a Verizon customer since 2003 - NEVER missed a payment and yet, ZERO help or satisfaction with these watches. Thanks for NOTHING!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This has been a good investment. We are over two years, many drops, some in water, mis-placed several times, two watch bands, a few challenged reception incidents. It could be better, but for what it is I feel it has been a good value. It still works but it is worse for the wear.

2 Numbers must be registered through the GizmoHub App. Gizmo Watch permits up to nine contacts in addition to the primary registered caregiver.
3 Waterproof: This device has been tested to be IPX7 compliant. Do not operate underwater. If all covers are tightly closed, device is protected against water ingress to a maximum of 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.
4 Data usage applies for app download and use.
5 Repeat call must be placed within 60 seconds of the previous unanswered call.

Not worth it, you might as well invest in an Apple Watch for your children

We bought two of these for my children so we can keep track of them while they are out playing, but have had issues non-stop. In retrospect, we would have saved a lot of wasted time and trouble by spending a bit more upfront.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Not sure why this watch has such low reviews but I’ve had a wonderful experience with it. 1. We have the original gizmo. 2. My son has had this watch for 2 years now. 3. It charges well and last for days. 4. Tracking on it is amazing and always accurate. 5. Calls always go through 6. Texting could be better. There are only preset things they can send but they are allowed to send voice messages which works out well. 7. You can preset contacts so they can only call those people. 8. They can only text guardians and it has to be through the app. 9. Original watch band didn’t last not very sturdy but you can find some on Amazon for cheap and are more durable. 10. The screen is great we put screen covers from Amazon on my sons. 11. Also I’ve tried the gizmo app for both Samsung and apple and I have not had any issues with either phone. It has worked amazing for me

Intermittent service, poor quality... broken bands and functions

We live in a mountainous area, so generally expected service to be poor inside houses or where normal cell service is limited, but it iguana can't find the device in town or especially buildings even in highly serviceable areas. The bands have broken multiple times. Blogs indicate that our problem with the step counter not working often and requiring restart is common. We also have to fully factory reset it sometimes when the message log gets full. If it worked properly, this is a great little device. It's simple and has limited features, so it's perfect for doing exactly what it needs to do which is provide communication options with young kids that aren't phone ready.

Other parents near me say it has a little sketchy service in houses with already bad service but it does the job well. No complaints so far and we’ve had it 2 months now.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I ordered two Gizmowatch2’s. The pink and blue are the first generation. The coral, aquafresh, and moondust are the second generation. Do your research on the differences. I just wanted to relay to whoever is interested, the moondust color is more lavender than a gray. A little deceiving in the name of the color, in my opinion. These watches have not been activated as they are Christmas gifts. I’ll update the review after we have tested the functionality of the watch!

Problem 1: Verizon is not putting any money behind 4G LTE anymore and this watch is stuck with that. No signal inside houses. crappy coverage. Problem 2: The charging connector is very unreliable. Needs frequent cleaning. Problem 3: Terrible quality control and extremely poor customer service. Unfortunately, there are not many choices in the market, so people are stuck with it. Terrible product is better than nothing.

So we had to her replacements twice, due to issues with the device that we/ our child didn’t cause. Then the battery started having issues. The battery won’t last a full day ( will die right before or after she gets home from school, despite barely using it and having many features disabled). The charger itself won’t connect anymore unless you place the watch on it in a very specific way that my husband is only able to do, making it useless for a kid to be responsible for charging it. Tech support doesn’t help, and advised us to do EVERYTHING we’ve already tried on our own to troubleshoot to get the watch to charge and stay charged the length of time we need it to. Also, if you don’t have the update installed and you’re not near the watch, the parent controls won’t work, so it’s pointless. There’s no notifications saying there’s an update, so you constantly have to check.
