  1. What is Apple Music?

    Apple Music is a streaming music service that lets you listen to a catalog of more than 70 million songs, ad-free. You can also download music to listen to offline, watch music videos and create playlists of your favorite songs.

  2. What is the Verizon mobile Apple Music promotional offer?

    Apple Music is included with certain Verizon mobile Unlimited plans. Depending on your plan, you may get Apple Music included for either as long as you have the plan, or for 6 months.

    If your plan includes Apple Music, you currently have until midnight on 5/31/21 to enroll.

  3. Is Apple Music included with my Verizon mobile phone plan?

    Apple Music is included* with:

    You can keep Apple Music as long as you keep the plan.

    Apple Music included* for 6 months with:

    After the 6-month promotion ends the cost is $9.99/line per month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime.

  4. Who is eligible for the Apple Music promotion?

    To get the Apple Music promotion, you must:

    • Be up-to-date on your bill payments
    • Have an iPhone® or an Android™ smartphone
    • Be on an eligible Unlimited plan

    Note:

    • If you're new to Verizon, you'll need to sign up for an Unlimited plan, activate your phone and register for My Verizon before you can sign up for the Apple Music promo.
    • If you previously signed up for the 6-month Apple Music promotion and then switch to a plan that’s also eligible for the 6-month offer, you don’t qualify for the 6-month offer again.

  5. Can I get Apple Music in New Mexico?

    Yes. New Mexico residents are not eligible to bill third-party charges to their account, but can get Apple Music with eligible Unlimited plans.

    For New Mexico residents subscribed to the 6-month promotion, Apple Music automatically cancels at the end of the promotional period.

  6. How do I cancel my Apple Music subscription?

    You can cancel your Apple Music subscription from your computer or mobile device in My Verizon.

  7. How do I sign up for Apple Music and download the app?

    Eligible Account Owners or Account Managers can enroll in Apple Music in My Verizon from their computer or mobile device.

    If your plan includes Apple Music, you currently have until midnight on 5/31/21 to enroll.

    Note: Each eligible line gets a free text message within 24 hours of signing up. Tap the link in the text to download Apple Music on Android or to open Apple Music on iPhone.

  8. I want to change to a plan that includes the Apple Music promotion. If I choose to have the new plan start on a future date, can I enroll in Apple Music right now? Will I still get the subscription for free?

    To avoid charges for Apple Music, you must wait to enroll until your new plan is active. If you enroll in Apple Music before your new plan is active, your account will incur prorated charges for the subscription until the new plan starts. You'll see those charges under Add ons on your bill.

  9. Can I get Apple Music with my plan if I already have an Apple Music subscription through Apple?

    Yes. You can still get Apple Music with your Verizon plan even if you’re already subscribed through Apple.

    Once you redeem the Verizon promotional subscription and link your Apple ID, you'll be prompted within the Apple Music app to cancel one of your subscriptions. Canceling with Apple will continue your Apple Music subscription through Verizon.

  10. If I cancel my existing Apple Music subscription to enroll in this promotion, will I lose my saved music and playlists?

    No, when you cancel your existing subscription your music and playlists carry over automatically as long as you sign in with the same Apple ID

  11. Can I use my Apple Music subscription from Verizon on other devices besides my smartphone?

    Yes, if you log in to iTunes or the Music app with the Apple ID that 's getting Apple Music from Verizon, you can access your saved music and playlists.

  12. Can I get Apple Music if I have an Android smartphone?

    Yes, Android smartphones are eligible for Apple Music. Just download the Apple Music app onto your smartphone if you don't have it already.

  13. Can I sign up for Apple Music with my smartwatch's Number Share line?

    No, a Number Share line is not eligible for Apple Music from Verizon. Sign up for Apple Music using your smartphone line, then access Apple Music on your smartwatch.

  14. Can I listen to Apple Music on my smartwatch?

    Yes, you can enjoy Apple Music on your smartwatch when it's connected through Wi-Fi, or when using cellular service with Number Share.

Managing your Apple Music included promotion

  1. What happens to my Apple Music subscription if I switch my calling plan off of a plan that has Apple Music included?

    Your Apple Music subscription is included for as long as your line is on the eligible plan.

    If you:

    • Switch to a different plan, you will be charged $9.99/line per month for your Apple Music subscription on your Verizon bill unless you cancel before changing your plan.
    • Decide to keep your Apple Music subscription after changing plans, you can cancel at any time.

    Note: For New Mexico residents subscribed to the 6-month promotion, Apple Music automatically cancels at the end of the promotional period.

  2. What happens to the Apple Music subscription included with my plan if I cancel my Verizon service?

    If you cancel your Verizon service, you'll lose the Apple Music subscription that was included with your calling plan.

  3. Where will the Apple Music promotion subscription appear on my bill?

    You'll see Apple Music on your Verizon bill under Add ons, with no charge.

Managing your Apple Music 6-month promotion

  1. How do I know when my Apple Music 6-month promotion ends?

    You can find your subscription status by:

    • Checking your Verizon Wireless bill
    • Visiting our Apple Music page on your desktop computer or smartphone's browser
    • In My Verizon online or the My Verizon app, go to your Add ons.

    You'll also get an email and text from us 2 days before your promotion changes to a paid subscription.

  2. What happens after my Apple Music 6-month promotion ends? Can I get the promotion more than once?

     You can only get the promotion once. After 6 months, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription if you don't cancel or switch to a plan that includes Apple Music. You'll be charged $9.99/line per month on your Verizon Wireless bill.

    Note: For New Mexico residents subscribed to the 6-month promotion, Apple Music is automatically canceled at the end of the promotional period.

  3. Where will I see the 6 month Apple Music subscription on my Verizon bill?

    You'll see Apple Music on your Verizon bill under Add ons.

    During your promotional period, you'll see your subscription start and end date, without a charge.

    When your promotion ends, you'll see a $9.99 charge for each line that keeps an Apple Music subscription.

  4. What happens to my Apple Music promotion if I suspend my smartphone line?

    If you suspend the smartphone line that has Apple Music:

    • Your Apple Music promotion continues. When the promotion ends you’re charged $9.99/line per month unless you cancel Apple Music (see Military exception below).
    • For Military personnel, if you suspend your line, we cancel your subscription on month 7 to ensure you aren't charged $9.99/line per month when the promo ends. Military personnel will then need to opt-in again upon re-activation of line to restart Apple Music.

  5. What happens to my Apple Music promotion if I cancel my Verizon service?

    If you cancel your Verizon service, your Apple Music promo will be canceled.
