Not worth the money

Farmer joe · 2 days ago

This phone is terrible. The reception in my area is 3G and 4G when available. When.4 G isn't available which is about half the time, I have no service with this motorola one 5g. The Bluetooth range is also very poor. It is less than half the range of my Motorola Z3. The phone did away with the back button when on websites so sometimes your click and your stuck and have to close and begin again. Also the camera has no black and white photo options. When streaming a radio station and when your done listening and stop and close it, it will begin playing hours later by itself. The only good thing is it has allot of storage but overall it's not worth $559.00 way over priced and plan return it.

The dumbest smart phone ever

Whybother · 7 days ago

Over-Loaded with preinstalled apps that might work, user installed apps work intermittently if at all and they glitchy and crash often. I have been on with Motorola support, Verizon support and different app supports. This phone is for the garbage, it looks fine but does not run apps efficiently, does not tether well and seems very susceptible to any network interference

Life & Sound

SpeekerBoxer · 8 days ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I'm a retired Verizon Experience Specialist and having used every phone sold, this phone has extraordinary battery life. I can go two days before plugging up. So no more hiding battery packs and cables every I go. The biggest surprise is Verizon Adaptive Sound. I don't miss going to developer options and resetting Aptx HD evertine I connect to another device or when the screen goes dark. If you love music, then this is the phone. It was said, "Let there be light." Now......"let be sound."

Worst phone I've owned

Bobby · 9 days ago

Got the phone and at first thought, this is pretty nice. Now 3 days into it and I'm trying to convince my work to exchange it back. Terrible very bad service, like bad bad is the best way I can thing to describe it. My alarms will not work once I leave the alarm screen, as soon as it's supposed to go off I get a message about missing alarm. Then my Wi-Fi calling will not turn on. Also not a major thing but the picture taking lags a little bit. It could be such a nice phone but those things killed it, you could look great and have cool features and great camera but with terrible service it's a terrible phone. I had the older Moto Z phone with the attachments before this one and thought it was pretty darn good, I'm not sure what you did to mess it up so bad but it is.

Not so sure about this phone

I just got this phone yesterday to replace a broken phone and now I don't have any cell service where I did with my old phone. I have to switch it to wifi to make or take phone calls

Don't buy an unlocked model. Verizon or Motorola(my guess Verizon) will not push the update to give it 5g service!!!!!! Verizon and Motorola's fault for poor rating for stating this would happen. 5G UWB service is plentiful in my area.

Never Motorola! Never ever ever ever!

swalker · 20 days ago

I purchased matching Moto G Power phones for my twin girls 15 months ago. One had problems from the beginning with overheating and inability to send messages. Motorola was not helpful. Now both phones are having major hardware issues and need constant restarting. Do NOT purchase Motorola phones. You've been warned!

Don't get it!

Computer Geek · 20 days ago

When I read reviews on this phone, I should have listened to those that were having trouble. I have to keep uninstalling, reinstalling apps so they will work. It drops service. It's slow no matter what you do. I have to wait minutes for my pictures to load. Sometimes it is just not responsive. Even as I try to add a photo to this post, it will not respond the "add photo". Worst Motorola ever! My husband has the exact same issues as I do. We upgraded from Motorola Z3 to the Ace. Wish we had of keep the Z3's.

No Charger

G00se26 · 23 days ago

Took out of the box and expected to find at least a 10W or larger charger. Guess what no charger, just a short cable so first thoughts of how motorola is cutting cost before I even turn the phone on. I will provide a second review in a few days after I start using the phone after it's charged.

Very Heavy, Bulky, and Poor Camera

Chris · 24 days ago

This phone looks good on paper for the price, but compared to other phones I have had it is very heavy. Will hurt your wrist after using for even short periods of time, from having to support its weight. The camera takes very poor quality photos, which is surprising since there are 3 cameras and its 48 MP. Very difficult to focus and adjust brightness during photos. Also when you snap a picture, there is like a 3 second lag between each photo, which is not something I would expect on a phone in 2021. The screen is very good - very clear, bright, and excellent resolution. I have noticed a little bit of lag at times too, but its not that bad. Either way, at this price I feel there are better options that will be more enjoyable to use. Using this phone feels like work!
