Call the World Plan Changes

Your Call the World international calling plan has changed.

As of 7/1/19, the Call the World plan will provide 500 minutes/month, shared by all lines on your Verizon account, for calls to the 160+ countries included in the plan. Any minutes for calls to these countries after the monthly allowance is used will be charged at 25 cents/minute.

Calls to countries other than those 160+ are charged at varying per minute rates. You can view rates here for calling countries not included in the Call the World plan.

If this change affects you, you can consider changing to a current international long distance plan:

  • Global Calling Plus: Provides unlimited long distance calls from the US to landlines in 60+ countries, to mobile devices in 30+ countries and discounted calls to another 160+ countries, all for just $15/month per line.
  • Global Calling: Provides unlimited long distance calls from the US to Canada and Mexico and discounted calls to another 220+ countries, all for just $5/month per line.

You can change your plan any time through My Verizon online or your My Verizon app.

Note: After Call the World is removed from your account, it can't be added back later.
