How to get Disney+ with Verizon unlimited or 5G Home Internet

General information

  1. What's the Disney+ subscription offer?

    For a limited time, eligible customers can get Disney+, the new on-demand streaming service, on us for 12 months. That's a $6.99/month savings.

  2. What's Disney+?

    Disney+ gives you endless access to your favorite movies and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more.

  3. Are ESPN+, Hulu, or Hulu Live included with Disney+?

    Our "Disney+ on us" offer is only for Disney+ and does not include ESPN+ or any of the Hulu plans.

    If you get our Disney+ on us offer and then decide to get the Disney+ / ESPN+ / Hulu bundle through Disney, Disney will automatically credit you the value of our Disney+ promotion for as long as you’re enrolled in the Verizon Disney+ on us subscription.

    You must subscribe to the bundle using the email address that's associated with your Disney+ account to get the credit for the Disney+ on us offer.

    To switch to the bundle after you get our Disney+ on us offer, log in to your Disney+ account, choose Billing Details and select Switch to Disney bundle.

Eligibility and sign up

  1. Who's eligible to get the Disney+ promotion?

    For a limited time, you're eligible to get the Disney+ promotion when you either:

    • Have or get 1 or more unlimited data plans.
      • Eligible plans include the Verizon Unlimited plan, Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, Above Unlimited, Get More Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, Play More Unlimited and Start Unlimited and select previously offered unlimited plans. (Learn more about our currently available unlimited plans and previously offered unlimited plans).
      • Have or get Verizon 5G Home Internet.

    You can also get Disney+ on us for 12 months when you get Verizon Fios Home Internet. Visit our Verizon Fios and Disney+ FAQs to learn more.

    Note: Business accounts and prepaid accounts aren't eligible for the "Disney+ on us" promotion.

  2. How do I sign up for the Disney+ promotion using the My Verizon app?

    You can view our  video How to get Disney+ on us using the My Verizon App for step-by-step instructions.

    Or, if you have an eligible plan and are the Account Owner or an Account Manager, follow these steps:

    1. Open the My Verizon app.
    2. Tap the Menu icon in the top left, then tap Plans & Devices. You'll be asked to sign in.
    3. After you sign in, scroll to Explore Add-Ons. Choose the Entertainment tab.
    4. Swipe to Disney+ and tap Learn More.
    5. Review the offer and Terms and Conditions. Then tap Enroll.
    6. Enter the email address to use for your Disney+ promotional subscription. If you already have a Disney+ subscription, enter the email address you used for that subscription.
    7. Re-enter to confirm the email address and choose Validate.
      • If you had an existing Disney+ subscription, review your subscription changes and click Continue.
    8. Review the account changes, accept the Terms and Conditions, then tap Confirm.

      Note: Your 12-month promotional period starts when you accept the Terms and Conditions and not when you complete enrollment through Disney+.



      You'll be shown a Disney+ confirmation screen. Tap Continue to be taken to the Disney+ login page to set up your Disney+ account.

      Note: Each Disney+ promotion can only be applied to 1 Disney+ account.


    9. Review Disney’s Privacy Policy and Subscriber Agreement, then click Agree & Continue.
    10. Enter a password and click Continue.
    11. You'll be prompted to install the Disney+ app on your device.

    On the Disney+ app:

    1. Open the Disney+ app on your device, then tap Log In.

    2. Enter the email address and password you created for Disney+.
    3. You've completed your Disney+ enrollment.

      Note: You must be the account owner or account manager to enroll.

  3. How do I sign up for the Disney+ promotion using My Verizon online?

    You can view our  video How to get Disney+ on us using My Verizon online for step-by-step instructions.

    Or , if you have an eligible plan, you can follow these steps:

    1. Register or sign in to My Verizon.
    2. From the top menu, choose Plan, then Add-ons and apps.
    3. Click View all Add-ons or Shop our best sellers and click Disney+.
    4. From the Disney+ section, choose Get it now.
    5. Enter the email address to use for your Disney+ subscription.
    6. Choose Check email.
    7. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions. If you agree, click Enroll in Disney+.

      Note: Your 12-month promotional period starts when you accept the Terms and Conditions and not when you complete enrollment through Disney+.



    8. You'll see a screen confirming your 12 month enrollment in Disney+. Tap Continue to be taken to the Disney+ login page to set up your Disney+ account.

      Note: Each Disney+ promotion can only be applied to 1 Disney+ account.

    9. Review Disney's Privacy Policy and Subscriber Agreement, then click Agree & Continue.
    10. Enter a password and click Continue.
    11. Download and install the Disney+ app on your device.

    On the Disney+ app

    1. Open the Disney+ app on your device, then tap Log In.
    2. Enter the email address and password you created for Disney+.
    3. You’ve completed your Disney+ enrollment.

      Note: You must be the account owner or account manager to enroll.

  4. How can I check to make sure I'm signed up for Disney+ with the first 12 months on Verizon?

    1. Open the Disney+ app on your device.
    2. Tap the Profile icon (bottom right-hand corner).

  5. I already have Disney+. Can I still take advantage of this promotion?

    If your existing Disney+ subscription is through Verizon - You can only have 1 Disney+ subscription for each Verizon account (each account has its own bill).

    If your existing Disney+ subscription was purchased through Disney:

    • Multi-year or annual subscription - That subscription is paused while the Verizon Disney+ on us is in use and resumes when the 12 months period is over.

      Note: You must sign up for the Verizon Disney+ on us with the same email you used to buy the existing subscription for the existing subscription to be paused.
    • Monthly or annual subscription and you’re in the free trial period - That existing subscription will be canceled before your next billing date so you can use the Verizon Disney+ on us promotional subscription.
    • Monthly or annual subscription - That existing subscription will be canceled before your next billing date so you can use the Verizon Disney+ on us promotional subscription.

    If your existing Disney+ subscription was purchased through other third parties – This promotional offer won’t automatically replace that subscription. After you enroll and set up your account, you’ll get an email with information about how to manage your existing subscription. You’ll still be billed for the existing subscription until you follow the email instructions.

    How long you have to sign up for the Disney+ promotional subscription depends on which qualifying Verizon service you have:

  7. Can I get more than 1 Disney+ offer on my Verizon account?

    The Disney+ 12 month subscription offer is available to:

    • Those with eligible unlimited data plans
    • 5G Home Internet customers
    • New Fios Home Internet customers

      1 offer is available per account. Because you have a separate account and bill for Verizon Wireless and for Verizon Fios, if you have a qualifying service on each account, you could have a Disney+ promotional subscription on each account.

      Note: You'd need to use a different email address for each of the promotional subscriptions. Only 1 email address can be used per each Disney+ account.

Managing your subscription

  1. What happens at the end of the promotion?

    After your 12 month Disney+ promotional subscription ends, the Disney+ promotion automatically changes to a paid subscription. Your Verizon account is charged $6.99/month. (Exception: If you're an existing annual or multi-year Disney+ subscriber, your existing subscription is paused during the Disney+ on us offer and resumes when the promotional period ends.)

    You can cancel Disney+ at any time.

    Note: If you're in New Mexico your Disney+ promotion ends automatically after 12 months and you can re-enroll at the normal price.

  2. How do I cancel my Disney+ subscription if I need to?

    You can cancel Disney+ any time:

    • My Verizon online: From the top menu, choose Plan, then Add-ons and apps. Click Best Sellers. Scroll to Disney+ and choose Manage add-on, then Cancel my subscription.
    • My Verizon app: From the main menu, choose Account and scroll to Add-ons to manage or cancel the Disney+ subscription.

    Keep in mind, this is a one time per account offer only. When you cancel Disney+ on us it can't be added again.

  3. What happens if I get the Disney+ promotion and I cancel or change my unlimited plan or my 5G Home Internet service?

    If you cancel your qualifying Verizon service(s), going forward, you'll no longer get the Disney+ on us offer.

    Exception: If you're an annual or multi-year Disney+ subscriber, your existing subscription that was paused during the Disney+ on us offer will resume when you cancel your qualifying plan or service.


  4. What happens if I change my unlimited plan or 5G Home Internet plan to a non-qualifying plan?

    If you change to a non-qualifying service, you no longer get the Disney+ on us offer. The Disney+ subscription fee applies and you’ll see a $6.99 charge under Add-ons on your bill when you switch. You can cancel the subscription any time through Verizon.

    Exception: If you signed up for the Verizon Disney+ on us promotion and changed to an ineligible plan before 5/20/20, you can switch back to a qualifying Verizon wireless unlimited plan or 5G plan by 6/30/20 and your Disney+ on us offer will resume with the balance of time left on your 12 months promotion.

    Note: If you're in New Mexico and switch to a non-qualifying plan, your Disney+ subscription automatically cancels.

  5. What if I cancel Verizon service altogether?

    If you cancel your Verizon service entirely, your Disney+ subscription is canceled. (Exception: If you're an annual or multi-year Disney+ subscriber, your existing subscription that was paused during the Disney+ on us offer will resume when you cancel your Verizon service.)

  6. What happens to my Disney+ subscription if I need to suspend my Verizon service?

    If you suspend your service your promotion will resume when your service is restored.

Using Disney+

  1. What devices is Disney+ available on?

    You can access Disney+ movies and TV series on devices including personal computers, mobile phones and tablets and connected TV devices.

  2. How many family members can stream at 1 time with Disney+?

    Right now, 10 unique compatible devices can be used per subscription. Each subscription can have up to 4 devices streaming at the same time.

    • My Verizon app: From the top menu, choose Account, then Add-Ons. Scroll to Disney+ then tap Manage. Your reference number is under "Important Information."
    • My Verizon online: From the top menu, choose Plan, then Add-ons and apps. Choose Manage Your Products then Disney+ to see your reference number.
