About the Disney+ on us promotion

  1. What's the Disney+ promotion?

    For a limited time, if you have an eligible Unlimited plan, you can get Disney+, the on-demand streaming service, on us for 6 months. That's a $6.99/month savings.

Eligibility and sign-up

  1. Who's eligible to get the Disney+ promotion?

    You can enroll in our current 6-month Disney+ promotional subscription if you:

    • Business accounts and prepaid accounts aren't eligible for the Disney+ promotion.
    • The Disney+ offer with Verizon 5G Home Internet is no longer available.
    • Verizon mobile accounts that have already redeemed a Verizon Disney+ 12 months on us or Disney+ 6 months on us promotion aren't eligible to get another Verizon Disney+ promotion for that mobile account.

  2. Which Unlimited plans are eligible for the 6 month Disney+ subscription offer?

    If you have any of these plans, you’re eligible for the Disney+ 6-month subscription offer:

    • Get More Unlimited or Play More Unlimited (if you get the plan before 8/20/20), Do More Unlimited , Start Unlimited
    • Verizon Plan Unlimited,* Go Unlimited,* Beyond Unlimited,* Above Unlimited*

  3. Can I get a 12-month Disney+ promotion subscription with my Verizon wireless service?

    The 12-month promotional Disney+ subscription with select unlimited plans or 5G Home Internet service is no longer available. Only the current 6-month offer with select Unlimited plans is available.

    Or, if you have an eligible plan and are the Account Owner or an Account Manager, follow these steps:

    1. Open the My Verizon app.
    2. Tap the Menu icon in the top left, then tap Plans & Devices. You'll be asked to sign in.
    3. After you sign in, scroll to Explore Add-Ons. Choose the Entertainment tab.
    4. Swipe to Disney+ and tap Learn More.
    5. Review the offer and Terms and Conditions. Then tap Enroll.
    6. Enter the email address to use for Disney+ promotional subscription. If you already have a Disney+ subscription, enter the email address you used for that subscription.
    7. Re-enter to confirm the email address and choose Validate.
      • If you had an existing Disney+ subscription, review your subscription changes and click Continue.
    8. Review the account changes, accept the Terms and Conditions, then tap Confirm.

      Note: Your promotional period starts when you accept the Terms and Conditions and not when you complete enrollment through Disney+.



      You'll be shown a Disney+ confirmation screen. Tap Continue to be taken to the Disney+ login page to set up your Disney+ account.

      Note: Each Disney+ promotion can only be applied to 1 Disney+ account. 



    9. Review Disney’s Privacy Policy and Subscriber Agreement, then click Agree & Continue.
    10. Enter a password and click Continue.
    11. You'll be prompted to install the Disney+ app on your device.

    On the Disney+ app:

    1. Open the Disney+ app on your device, then tap Log In.



    2. Enter the email address and password you created for Disney+.
    3. You've completed your Disney+ enrollment.

      Note: You must be the account owner or account manager to enroll.

  5. How do I sign up for the Disney+ promotion using My Verizon online?

    You can view our video How to get Disney+ on us using My Verizon online for step-by-step instructions.

    Or, if you have an eligible plan, you can follow these steps:

    1. Register or sign in to My Verizon.
    2. From the top menu, choose Plan, then Add-ons and apps.
    3. Click View all Add-ons or Shop our best sellers and click Disney+.
    4. From the Disney+ section, choose Get it now.
    5. Enter the email address to use for your Disney+ subscription.
      • If you already have a Disney+ subscription, enter the email address you used for that subscription. Re-enter to confirm the address and click Continue.
      • Here's what happens to your existing Disney+ subscription when you enroll in Disney+ on us.
    6. Choose Check email.
    7. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions. If you agree, click Enroll in Disney+.



      Note: Your promotional period starts when you accept the Terms and Conditions and not when you complete enrollment through Disney+.
    8. You'll see a screen confirming your enrollment in Disney+. Tap Continue to be taken to the Disney+ login page to set up your Disney+ account.

      Note: Each Disney+ promotion can only be applied to 1 Disney+ account.
    9. Review Disney's Privacy Policy and Subscriber Agreement, then click Agree & Continue.
    10. Enter a password and click Continue.
    11. Download and install the Disney+ app on your device.

    On the Disney+ app

    1. Open the Disney+ app on your device, then tap Log In.
    2. Enter the email address and password you created for Disney+.
    3. You’ve completed your Disney+ enrollment.

      Note: You must be the Account Owner or an Account Manager, to enroll.

  6. I want to change to a plan that includes the Disney+ on us promotion. If I choose to have the new plan start on a future date, can I enroll in Disney+ right now? Will I still get the subscription for free?

    To avoid charges for Disney+, you must wait to enroll until your new plan is active. If you enroll in Disney+ before your new plan is active, your account will incur prorated charges for the subscription until the new plan starts. You’ll see those charges under Add ons on your bill.

  7. How can I check to make sure I'm signed up for Disney+ with Verizon?

    1. Open the Disney+ app on your device.
    2. Tap the Profile icon (bottom right-hand corner).



    3. Tap Account.



    4. Under Subscription you'll see Verizon subscription.


  8. I already have Disney+. Can I still take advantage of this promotion?

    If your existing Disney+ subscription is through Verizon - You can only have 1 Disney+ subscription for each Verizon account (each account has its own bill).

    If your existing Disney+ subscription was purchased through Disney:

    • Multi-year or annual subscription - That subscription is paused while the Verizon Disney+ on us is in use and resumes when the promotional period is over.

      Note: You must sign up for the Verizon Disney+ on us with the same email you used to buy the existing subscription for the existing subscription to be paused.
    • Monthly or annual subscription and you’re in the free trial period - That existing subscription will be canceled before your next billing date so you can use the Verizon Disney+ on us promotional subscription.
    • Monthly or annual subscription - That existing subscription will be canceled before your next billing date so you can use the Verizon Disney+ on us promotional subscription.

    If your existing Disney+ subscription was purchased through other third parties – This promotional offer won’t automatically replace that subscription. After you enroll and set up your account, you’ll get an email with information about how to manage your existing subscription. You’ll still be billed for the existing subscription until you follow the email instructions.

  9. Can I get more than 1 Disney+ offer on my Verizon account?

    The Disney+ subscription offer is available until midnight on 5/31/21 to those with eligible Unlimited plans.

    1 offer is available per account. Because you have a separate account and bill for Verizon Wireless and for Verizon Fios, if you have a qualifying service on each account, you could have a Disney+ promotional subscription on each account.

    Note:

    • You'd need to use a different email address for each of the promotional subscriptions. Only 1 email address can be used per each Disney+ account.
    • Verizon mobile accounts that have already redeemed a Verizon Disney+ 12 months on us or Disney+ 6 months on us promotion aren't eligible to get another Verizon Disney+ promotion for that mobile account.

Managing your subscription

  1. What happens at the end of the promotion?

    After your Disney+ promotional subscription ends, the Disney+ promotion automatically changes to a paid subscription. Your Verizon account is charged $6.99/month.

    You can cancel Disney+ at any time.

    Note:

    • If you originally had a Disney+ promotion and upgrade to The Disney Bundle - when your original Disney+ promotion period ends you’ll be billed the full $12.99/month bundle subscription pricing.
    • If you're in New Mexico your Disney+ promotion ends automatically after the promotional period and you can re-enroll at the normal price.

  2. How do I cancel my Disney+ subscription if I need to?

    You can cancel Disney+ anytime on the Manage Disney+ page in My Verizon. Just follow the prompts.

    Keep in mind, this is a one time per account offer only. When you cancel Disney+ on us it can't be added again.

  3. What happens if I get the Disney+ promotion and I cancel or change my unlimited plan or my 5G Home Internet service?

    If you cancel your qualifying Verizon service(s), going forward, you'll no longer get the Disney+ on us offer.

    Exception: If you're an annual or multi-year Disney+ subscriber, your existing subscription that was paused during the Disney+ on us offer will resume when you cancel your qualifying plan or service.

  4. What happens if I change my Unlimited plan or 5G Home Internet plan to a non-qualifying plan?

    If you change to a non-qualifying service, you no longer get the Disney+ on us offer. The Disney+ subscription fee applies and you’ll see a $6.99 charge under Add-ons on your bill when you switch. You can cancel the subscription any time through Verizon.

    Exceptions:

    • If you're an annual or multi-year Disney+ subscriber, your existing subscription that was paused during The Disney+ offer will resume when you cancel your qualifying plan or service.
    • If you're in New Mexico and switch to a non-qualifying plan, the Disney+ subscription automatically cancels.

  5. What if I cancel Verizon service altogether?

    If you cancel your Verizon service entirely, your Disney+ subscription is canceled. (Exception: If you're an annual or multi-year Disney+ subscriber, your existing subscription that was paused during the Disney+ on us offer will resume when you cancel your Verizon service.)

  6. What happens to my Disney+ subscription if I need to suspend my Verizon service?

    If you suspend your service your promotion will resume when your service is restored.

  7. My Disney+ promotional subscription ended, what do I need to know?

    When your Verizon Disney+ promotion period ends, your subscription becomes a paid monthly subscription:

    • You won't have any Disney+ service interruption.
    • You'll see a $6.99 charge on your monthly Verizon bill.

    If you don't want to keep the paid subscription you can either:

  8. I changed to a plan that includes The Disney Bundle. What happens if there’s a gap between when my Disney+ promotional subscription ended and The Disney Bundle subscription starts?

    If you changed to a plan that includes The Disney Bundle, but you set the change to happen on a date that's after yourDisney+ promotional period ended, you'll have a $6.99 Disney+ charge on the first bill you get after the plan change. However, the bill after that will have a prorated credit for the subscription.

    Example: You had the Disney+ promotion and changed to a plan that includes The Disney Bundle. You set the plan change to happen on December 15. However, your Disney+ promotional subscription ended December 1. Your next bill has a $6.99 charge for Disney+ (1 month paid subscription). Then, since you only used the paid subscription for 2 weeks, your following bill has a credit for the cost of half a month's subscription.

Using Disney+

  1. What devices is Disney+ available on?

    You can access Disney+ movies and TV series on devices including personal computers, mobile phones and tablets and connected TV devices.

  2. How do I access Disney+ streaming content?

    You need to sign up for the Disney+ promotion and activate your Disney+ account before you can access Disney+. When your account is set up, you can access streaming content by:

    • Mobile devices - Downloading the Disney+ app.
    • Desktop computers - Logging into your Disney+ account on a web browser.

  3. How many family members can stream at 1 time with Disney+?

    Right now, 10 unique compatible devices can be used per subscription. Each subscription can have up to 4 devices streaming at the same time.
