Insurance and device protection - Support Overview

Find out what to do if one of your devices is lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctions after the manufacturer's warranty expires. If you've got device protection through Verizon, learn how to file a claim.


Has your device been activated for more than 30 days? From 2/14/24 - 4/13/24, if your device is not damaged or malfunctioning you can enroll it in Verizon Mobile Protect or any of our other device protection options.

To qualify for Device Protection, your device must be:

  • Fully functioning - Including but not limited to: power on/off, microphone, charging port and battery.
  • Without damage - Including but not limited to: cracked screen or swollen battery.
