The camera is absolutely beautiful, and it has good battery life compared to my old iPhone! It took a little getting used to the platform, but I love this phone. Huge upgrade.

It's hard to get used to, too heavy in my back pocket-pulls my pants down. It's hard to move around different screens. I was told it's easy to use by my salesman--no it's not. It's hard to find apps.

I've had three pixels. I'm not writing this to compare it to other phones. I'm writing it to compare to other pixels. This is the worst pixel I've ever had. The last pixel 9 I had I had to take it to the store to swap it out because after about 11 months of use it kept just shutting off randomly. Both that first pixel 9 that I got and this new one, the talk to text in general just got WAY worse. It overheats, you need to get bigger storage than the 128g for sure. Unless I'm on WiFi it NEVER plays YouTube videos at 1080p60fps. Never. Waiting for the next pixel. If that is this bad, I'm going iPhone.

I had a Pixel 5, but it stopped keeping a charge. Since I liked my phone so much, it was a no brainer to purchase another Pixel. I actually purchased the Pixel 9 sight unseen, so my fault. I do really like the phone itself, but it's quite heavy compared to my old Pixel 5. That is the sole reason for the 3 stars.

As a huge fan of pixel phones I was thrilled with some of the new features and the innovative design. The phone is beautifully crafted and feels amazing. Screen is very durable with excellent picture quality. Camera system is the greatest quality that retains my loyalty to the brand. However, as advanced as this phone is, my enjoyment has been thoroughly disrupted by a detective battery that is quite lousy at holding a charge. The phone continuously dies several times throughout the day without notice and at the worst times. Very inconvenient and frustrating to have to recharge 2-3 times a day after only using the device for an hour or so. I can literally watch the battery percentage countdown as I'm using the phone! It also has many other issues such as the call quality. The sound is crystal clear on my end but the other person on the line can't make out anything I'm saying because it cuts in and out and has a choppy and unstable connection and constantly loses signal and drops my calls. It's loaded with other bugs as well. The apps constantly freeze or glitch out and have to be rebooted often. This is very inconvenient when it happens in the middle of a game or when doing something important and I have to restart the app and lose process with what I'm working on. Social media apps often will not load imagery, particularly on profiles. Even when I tap a photo there is a delayed response and on some apps it won't even load at all. Touch sensory is very glitchy and has a choppy, unsmooth response. Despite these critical flaws, I retain hope that these will improve with updates or that perhaps my device is simply defective. I still love my phone and have very much enjoyed it more than other brands. It's very intuitive and personable and it remains among my favorite lines of smart phones. Google did an amazing job with the pixel 9.
