This has to be my favorite Motorola. Three times I tried out other brands, but they always came up short to my expectations. My first Motorola was the first edition KRZR and that ruined me for other brands. Since then I've had Droid X, Droid MAXX, Droid Z3 Droid Turbo 2 (twice), and now this one. Today I even upgraded my mom's line from the Z3 to the 2024 Moto G Play.

had phone for about a year now and the battery keeps going dead on me and I've used it for just about everything so I have to keep it on a charger most of the day and it wont last more then a 2 hours after charging it all night long also.

As a mechanic, this phone has been great. I've used it for 2 years with no screen protector and have barely scratched or dented it at all. I've dropped it in engine bays, concrete, down stairs etc ... No issue whatsoever. The battery life is the top complaint I see about it and I'm honestly not understanding what people could possibly be doing that would drain battery life, because I used mine CONSTANTLY running YouTube videos, listening to podcast, scrolling Facebook, Instagram and other apps. I also use it for work uploading and downloading pictures for my business. The battery will last me a whole 10 hour work shift plus more. If you need a phone that's gonna last 3 days on a charge, good luck most phones don't anyway. This hasn't been my absolute favorite Motorola, but it is a solid device and doesn't deserve the bad ratings people are throwing at it.

Just A Piece Of Junk!

My first Motorola phone screen cracked when I dropped it on the floor. Too bad as it was 3 years old and was working well. So I got this phone. And to say it is a piece of junk is bring very kind. It either changes screens when I barely touch the edge of the phone or it does nothing when I tap the screen. Battery life is all over the place, either it lasts forever to it drains in a matter of an hour or two. I have read over the instruction manual and nothing helps. I will look to pay this garbage off and either get a Samsung or Google phone. I do not want those, but Motorola gives me no choice. And I refuse to get an iPhone as they are overrated......

I am 26 year Verizon customer. Always had Motorola and Androis products. Was always happy before this phone. Got a good deal and it was 5G. Mechanically, this phone is a joke. Touch screen does not work half the time. Sometimes just kicks me out of an app. Loses 5G and doesn't connect to 4G. Many times have repeat action such as screen swipes seceral times. Had it replaced when I first got it. New phone worked just long enough to get out of the return period. Locked in now. Have to ride it out. Stay away.

I've been a Motorola fan since 2012 but this one is the worst one I've owned

Could be bettter . 9 months

Phone tends to lose signal indoors even though I've switched sim cards multiple times. The Bluetooth is crap sound quality is my thing and sometimes my music sounds terrible on Bluetooth compared to older devices I get it the sound quality is compressed on Bluetooth but this phone sometimes doesn't produce the bass the music has I first noticed it on a car audio sub and thought maybe it was my amp wiring then I noticed it on a basic factory stereo in a semi truck. The other issue with Bluetooth on this phone is sometimes you have to switch back to phone then back to Bluetooth because people think the call has dropped HUGE inconvenience driving a semi truck when I gotta mess with my phone. I bought a new headset thinking it was the issue turns out even brand new devices it's still crap. I'm considering switching brands of phone my next upgrade but I'm still on the fence Motorola used to be the best phone now I'm skeptical. I loved the moto edge with the curved screen but mine got water damage then I ended up with this one and it's been an issue since day one but I don't believe in insurance replacements because Verizon sends out used phones even under warranty now you get a "like new" device not happening with me if I'm paying new prices and it still works I'm keeping what I'm paying for refurbished phones are worse junk in my experience at least I know the issues with the one I have. Good thing it's almost paid off so I can find something better.

Dead battery after only 2yrs!!!

I've only had the phone for 23 months and the battery needs to be replaced. That's unacceptable for an $849 phone that I still have $289 left to pay on before I can get a new one. I've tried different cables tried the original block and cable, nothing will charge it. I have been using Motorola for 20 years and I'm now thinking of switching as my last Motolora Z3 Force did the exact same thing. So disappointment for a company that I've been with for so many years.

Drops calls, over heats, can't hear you, makes calls on it's own. Poor network connections and many more issues. I have had four prior Motorola phones and never had these kinds of issues. Stuck with paying for 2 phones we can't depend on or use.
