Stream TV Setup

  1. How do I connect my Stream TV?

    Before you set up your Stream TV, you'll need to make the proper connections:

    • Connect the HDMI cable from the Stream TV to your TV.
    • Connect the power cord from the Stream TV to an electrical outlet.

  2. How do I know if I have the latest version of Stream TV?

    The latest version of Stream TV has an indented button in the top left corner of the device. See screenshot below. The previous version of Stream TV did not have this button.



    Both versions of Stream TV will now display the updated menu with exclusive Verizon content.

Downloading apps

  1. How do I download new apps?

    To download a new app, select the + symbol at the end of your apps rail to access the Google Play Store. Visit our How To page to learn how to download and install apps on Stream TV.

  2. How do I reorder or remove apps from my Favorites (Apps) rail?

    To remove or reorder an app:

    1. Highlight the app and hold down the OK button on the remote.
    2. Select Move to reorder or Remove from favorites to remove.

    Note: Certain apps may be permanently pinned your Favorites rail and cannot be moved or removed.

  3. Where do I go for help with my downloaded apps?

    For downloaded apps, please contact the app provider.

Stream TV Remote Control

  1. How do I upgrade my Stream TV remote control software?

    If prompted to update your remote software, you may perform the steps manually:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Select View More.
    3. Go to Advanced Settings from the Settings menu.
    4. Select Upgrade Bluetooth remote.

  2. How do I sync my Stream TV remote to control the volume on my TV or audio receiver?

    If your remote does not sync to your TV volume during the initial setup or as part of a subsequent software update, you can perform the sync manually.

    1. Select Advanced Settings from the Settings menu.
    2. Select Configure Stream TV remote from the Advanced Settings menu.
    3. Hit the Begin button from the Configure Stream TV remote screen.
    4. Wait for the hardware configuration to complete and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm successful configuration.

    Note: Depending on your current remote firmware, you may first be prompted to update your current version.
