Best Smartphone on the market -

ActualUser27 · 12 hours ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I have NO idea what phone the negative reviewers purchased, but it was not the Edge+. First off, camera and light gestures are simply awesome! Ridiculous battery life - literally 2 days for me on average. 5G works everywhere it is available, no call drops or weird issues. I've had this phone over 6 months, and it has been dropped. Several times. No issues at all. Oh and it still has a headphone jack! No, it does not come with the brick charger for the wall - but who doesn't have multiples of those lying around? It comes with the cord, plug it into anything USB, and yes, it will charge.

Fades in and out when talking on the phone.

Rick · 1 days ago

The party on the other end cannot hear everything i am saying. Fades in and out, or garbles everything.

    Videos don't rotate to Fullscreen

    Bhpeter · 8 days ago

Watching videos on any streaming service will randomly not rotate so you watch it super condensed or zoned into the middle. You will have to continuously lock and unlock phone until it eventually corrects itself, it restart phone. Happens with mine and with the other edge+ I have in my phone. Extremally annoying when I watch lots of shows and videos while commuting. Didn't matter if I had auto rotate on or off still stays a constant problem

    Lasted 3 months

    KaBai · 8 days ago

I took a chance on a new Motorola Edge from Verizon and what a complete failure. Connectivity is great if you have another phone you can use as a hotspot, reception again if i used my company phone or my sons phone as a hotspot I could make phone calls or search internet. Son has a Apple and wife has a Google pixel 3 and both are superior to this phone. Only place this phone has exceled is battery life. Now phone is less than 3 months old and is completely dead. My only hope is when I return home the new Goolge pixel will be out.

Good Except Wifi and Data Issues

    Tyler S · 15 days ago

Overall this phone is good. I've only owned flagship Samsung phones in the past but wanted a premium phone with a 3.5mm jack and a large battery- this one fit the bill so I decided to give it a shot. Performance is about the same as my previous Note 8. Battery is much better. Call quality is worse and I get complaints when using the speaker. Screen is beautiful and speaker audio is excellent. So there are pros and cons that would rate this a 4 or 5 star BUT.... I've NEVER had a phone with a worse data connection! Places around my home and yard where I had perfect data quality on 4G or Wifi I now have trouble getting any reception. I've done all the updates. Reset the connections. Searched for solutions. Etc... I have to restart my phone several times per day to get data to work. It's like the phone has no ability to switch to the best connection without a restart. It's very disappointing! I considered returning the phone within the 30 day period but didn't want to go back to my Note 8 (poor battery life) and didn't know what else to buy. I've now had this for a few months and the only solution I can find is restarting it, again, and again, and again, and again....

I loved it when it was new.

    Becky425 · 17 days ago

I got this phone in June and loved it at first. I dropped it and the screen went black. I was told the screen cannot be replaced so i needed to get a replacement through Asurion. Asurion sent me a refurbished phone that is absolute junk. It drops calls, it takes bad pictures, the battery doesn't last, the screen is glitchy when it works at all. If i would have known this i would never have bought this phone. Now I have over a year and a half with this junk.

Glitchy, freezes a lot, display great, not a fan of the camera.

    Jumbo · 19 days ago

I have never had issues this much with a smart phone. The phone is not worth the price. A great display is really all this phone really has. The system freezes, and the camera kinda sucks in my opinion. There also three white dots that pop up on the screen, like though the screen. The back light of screen is coming though. I guess you can say three little holes in the screen.

    Weak all around phone

    Dom13 · 21 days ago

In fairness I'm a construction worker who rides a Harley every day. However some of my issues have not been a result of these factors .. I'm on my 3rd Edge + and needing to get a 4th .. one was my fault, it fell off my Harley but prior to that it was starting to have issues with the charging port. Had the second phone have charging port issues and touch screen issues. This current one I have now has backlight issues having lines of dead pixels and faint lines across the whole screen.. I'm over it. I'm switching to apple when I can..
