Tap into the Verizon Enterprise Solutions fleet management system to uncover detailed data on your vehicles, helping you inform better decision-making, and outpace your competitors—and do it all with the backing of the nation’s largest, most reliable 4G LTE network. Read on or watch the video to find out just how our fleet management solution can drive results for your fleet.
For the Verizon fleet management system to function, first telematics devices are installed directly into an engine's onboard diagnostic unit to monitor vehicle location and conditions, like idle time, driver behavior, engine data, and speed. The telematics devices are able to collect these metrics as often as every fifteen seconds. Once the device is installed, the fleet management solution's back-end software system collects and securely transmits this data over the Verizon wireless network to a dispatch center. Here the data is analyzed and posted to a secure website. You and other important decision makers can review historical behavior, monitor schedules, and identify red flags like excessive idle time as the live report data flows in from your fleet's working engines.
The Verizon fleet management solution also gives you the ability to quickly read your vehicle's Diagnostic Trouble Codes, or DTCs. The remote system scans DTC alerts from your vehicle, generates a message, and sends that information over the robust Verizon network to the right people. So you can view recall notices quickly, detect problems before they get worse, and schedule the right maintenance for your vehicles. With the data generated by our fleet management system, you're not only able to make timely repairs. More importantly, you can help promote the safety of your most important asset: your fleet's drivers who put in the work they do on the road.
The fleet management system's software easily integrates with Garmin, Esri or other familiar GPS technology, but gives an even better read of what's happening with your fleet. And when you turn to the nation's largest, most reliable 4G LTE network from Verizon to make it happen, you're turning to experts in controlling costs and increasing efficiency.
