ICSA Labs maintains both an Authorized Test Lab (ATL) and an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) which governs the testing and certification of technology solutions. These certifications are granted by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Once testing is successfully completed and ONC Health IT Certification is granted, ICSA Labs will deliver the following:

In addition, ICSA Labs assists in maintaining your ONC Health IT product certification through quarterly product reporting, product update services, and ongoing product surveillance to ensure continued conformance to the standards and requirements under which the product was certified.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) has established a program to ensure certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT) is available for adoption by healthcare providers and hospitals. Providers and hospitals that implement CEHRT are eligible to receive EHR incentive payments under the Promoting Interoperability Programs administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
