Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G - Use Multi Window

Here's how to use two apps simultaneously on your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G.
  • 'Multi window' is also referred to as split screen.
  • The 'Multi window' function allows multiple apps to be run on the current screen at the same time.
  • Not all apps support 'Multi window'.

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Recent apps icon
    Recent apps icon (lower-left).
  2. Scroll left or right to locate the preferred app.
  3. Tap the app icon (e.g., Gmail, Settings, Email, etc.) located at the top of the panel then tap one of the following:
    Options may vary depending on the app selected.

    • Open in split screen view
      : Allows you to view two apps side-by-side.
  4. From the bottom half of the split screen, tap the second app to be viewed.
    Adjust the size of the apps by sliding the horizontal bar between the apps up or down.
    To exit split screen, tap the
    Recent Apps icon
    Recent apps icon then swipe up on the split screen window.

      : Allows you to view one app while another is open behind it.
    • Touch and hold the pop-up to move the placement of the app.
    • Adjust the opacity of the pop-up by tapping the
      Contrast icon
      Contrast icon then sliding the blue dot left to right.
    • Adjust the pop-up by tapping the Minimize Minimize icon , Maximize Maximize icon or Close icon Close icon.
