Verizon Unified Communications and Collaboration  as a service gives you access to a range of Cisco applications.

Unified Communications Manager

Unified Communications Manager provides audio and video call control, voice services, and IP phone features.

Unity Connection

This voice messaging app offers features, including web voicemail and IMAP integration, for clients such as Microsoft Outlook and Cisco Jabber.

Unified Presence

This app allows UCaaS users to view information about users’ availability via clients or integration with third-party enterprise apps.


Jabber offers secure chat, audio and video calling, voicemail, call control, presence, desktop sharing, and Cisco WebEx.




Expressway allows remote and mobile workers to access Jabber securely, without the need for a VPN client.

Service options

UCCaaS can be delivered in five primary packages, along with several capabilities that can be ordered a la carte.

Essential Package

This package provides limited Cisco Unified Communications Manager features, including core IP call control, but excluding mobility or single number reach. It's restricted to a single physical device: an analog phone or a low-end Cisco IP phone.

Caller Package

This offering includes the full set of call-control capabilities (including single number reach), plus presence/IM as well as a single endpoint, which can be any of the following: Jabber Desktop, Jabber Mobile or any supported IP phone.

Information Worker (Basic) Package

This includes all of the features in the Caller Package and one endpoint (desktop Jabber, Mobile Jabber or any supported phone model). It adds Unity Connection voicemail, Visual Voicemail and optional telepresence. An additional professional services engagement is required for configuration.

Knowledge Worker (Enhanced) Package

The enhanced package provides unified communications, Single Number Reach, and a core set of collaboration tools—instant messaging and presence. It Comes with a full set of unified communications capabilities and endpoints that let business customers extend consistent communications services to employees to remote workplaces.

Power User (Premium) Package

This premium package includes all the features of the Information Worker package, plus support for up to ten endpoints of any type, including Jabber mobile client, Jabber desktop client, Jabber integration with another client or CISCO IP Communicator.
